Loving the breakdown! It was great to work with you guys on this one- and I can't wait for what's next! As a Google boi - being able to shoot prores log on a phone is wild- iPhone is too tempting 😆
awesome content breakdown, bumped into your "Japan is beautiful video and I've been stuck on your page is it possible for you to drop links to some of the exact gears you used ?
hey i loved your video so far ... i want to know your color manage ment settings in davinci resolve studio . coor management [ color science , timeline color space , output color space in settings not in node tree ] can you provide a link to apple rec 709 lut ...pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Color science: DaVinci YRGB, timeline color space: rec 709a (I’m on MacBook), couldn’t find output color space you’re referring to, and search “Apple LUTs for iPhone 15 pro video” on Google, you’ll find a discussions forum where you can download it. Hope this helps!
I’m very curious as to what you think of the Sony Zv-E1. Does it compare to the fx3? And am I able to take a similar look as your Japan is Beautiful video? That video was my main reason why I wanted the fx3 but now that the zv-e1 is like 1550$ used, I could save almost 1600$. I don’t do full time shoots like you. I just shoot UA-cam videos but want the highest quality possibly.
Never used a ZV-E1 but I can tell you what based on what I know. Image quality should be identical. Overheating is kinda an issue but if you’re shooting stuff like Japan is beautiful, they’re very short clips. 30 secs max. If you’re doing talking head or in a very hot climate, that may affect ya. If you’re tight on budget, the Sony a6700, A7C II, a7iv, zv e10 mkii should honestly be more than enough. It just comes down to knowing composition, exposing, color grading… etc
Awesome breakdown dude! It was crazy seeing it all come to life in person. I'm slowly becoming convinced to go back to iPhone as my next phone 😂
Haha thanks again for helping out! I’m telling ya, iPhone is the way to go 😂

You can always use usb to hdmi and use the program out in the Blackmagic camera app
True, but I didn’t want to rig a USB cable and a wireless transmitter to the iPhone. The new update solves that!
@OliverCao definitely! I was even thinking like 25ft usb c to hdmi cable but wireless is king indeed!
