Hand Painted Candles for Valentine’s Day - Country Peony

Today I want to show you how easy it is to make your own hand painted heart candles for Valentine’s Day!
The first step is to practice your heart onto a piece of paper. Then, use a clean candle and paint a heart onto the candle with craft paint. Don’t worry if you mess up because you can remove the heart with a clean cloth before it dries!
I found it easy to paint a dot and bring the paint down at an angle, then create a dot for the other side of the heart and bring the paint down to connect the bottom. Fill in, and then repeat!
You can apply more than one coat depending upon your look! I had so much fun making these and I think they are the sweetest and most unexpected way to add some Valentine’s Day charm to your decorations!
