- Alex and Charlotte are back for another weekly edition of TFTV. It was a great win for Newcastle United against Burnley on the weekend and Charlotte was especially happy to see Callum Wilson back to his best in front of watching Gareth Southgate. We also discuss Bruno and Joelinton having their partners there for the game and is there any tension between Isak and Wilson on who takes the penalties?

The fact that with three games to go we're in the top 6 with a slim chance of 5th given the majority of the season we've had more than a full 11 unavailable is fucking mental and Eddie Howe & his staff should be given so much credit for getting us to this position with everything we've had to face. I'm not worried about slipping up now, from the way we've been playing 6th is ours to lose and I'm confident we'll get it

We're gonna be massive next season without the injuries, Tonali back and the deadwood sold off.
If we hadn't been cheated by VAR in Paris, we may have now been in the position in which Dortmund find themselves; but we probably would have had even more injuries.
I’m also enjoying Dan Ashworth’s “move.” MUFC seem to be imploding and their wages bill could make it difficult to shift players who are typically older (Casemiro, Varan) or underperforming (Rashford). Casemiro is on £340k per week. Plus they need to find a manager. Car crash club versus NUFC who have kept their nerve and remained calm at executive level with a clear vision and plan.
So, despite having the worst injury crisis in history and Tonali's ban, we are currently 6th and have a strong chance of remaining 6th, and even have an outside chance of reaching 5th.
Which, before the season started and before the injury crisis and ban unfolded, is exactly the sort of position the majority of pundits thought we would finish this season simply due to having to play extra european matches.
Maybe certain people can have a quiet moment to take stock of how well Howe and the team have actually done, in spite of the worst injury crisis in human history, and maybe give the perpetual, negative whining (and their entirely unrealistic expectations) a bit of a rest.
We need another striker who isn't constantly getting injured. If we can afford to buy one, still keep Wilson and get the other targets we need, then that's great. If an FFP/PSR world means we have to sell some players, then selling Wilson should absolutely be considered. He might be keen on a move anyway due to his age and the likelihood he will now just be used as a backup to Isak.

if you remember brighton beat us 3-1 last time we played and we had quite a strong team. pope in goal tonali was playing joelinton was fit we had both strikers. this game is going to be alot harder than the burnley game. and ppl were saying that was a tuff game for us. before we played??.

Wilson is the pk taker, he let Isak take it to get to 20 goals and 1 behind Haaland at the time
As long as we don't lose to Man-U we should be okay... Hoping Chelsea slip up but it's in our hands tbf.
Wilson is made of glass he’s been a tremendous player for the club but we must get money for him now we can’t have any player only playing 50% of games it’s not realistic
With the absolute shit show of injured 1st team ballers and us playing the same 11 game after game, 6th would be insane .
Wilson should take the next penalty if both of them are on the field until he misses one. The robot is uncatchable now so Isak has no chance of winning the golden boot. Now that almost everyone is back and the stand in guys are putting up a fight, let us professionally dispatch Brighton at home and Man U away.

We need the player Wilson more than the money. Yes he's injured a lot but he still gets goals. Or should we sell him and spend 70 million on a striker and they get 6 goals all next season. Ummm tough one ......
Honestly it’s better to have a player that plays more than 15 games a season whether he scores or not
