Most excellent recap. Honestly for me as villains go it never made sense. If she wanted to kill Alex, she could have killed him at their first meeting. And why was she blowing up an entire city? She didn’t seem to have any political leanings. They never gave you a sense of her objective. And I thought it was kind of funny that an evil character got up that morning and put on her necklace and jewelry. It’s important to coordinate lol. The brother in Malta added nothing to the story. He was completely extraneous. The pretty tough girl in training added nothing to the story. Thoroughly enjoy the show and the character at the center of it, but felt that season three had a very vague, thin plot.

I think you missed a lot based on what your asking. She didn’t just kill Alex because she wanted to use him for revenge on mrs jones. And after kill him after seeing him feel betrayed just as she did. She wanted to blow up the British city because it will not only end the department because it’s blunts job to protect the city, but Scorpia can use it as leverage against other governments. The show made it clear it was personal for her.

In the book, the brother did so much , alex even snuck into some facility and the brother helped him so much, providing gears and everything and Julia Rothmans moves made more sense

Overall, I think they cut corners seeing as this is the last season and they probably have barely any budget left
