Gary should take legal action against MLB. He's the best announcer in the league, and they’ve deprived Mets fans of his amazing commentary.

Mets took it to the Phillies, but Phillies were determined today. I still think the Mets can win the series.

We have home field advantage, and we’re not impressed or scared of them.
Both teams are determined and have a lot of grit. The Phillies are lucky that the Mets bullpen couldn't get it done. But that's baseball.

I really wasn't too enthusiastic about Megiill working a tie game out if the bullpen. Its so new to him....lots of pressure! coming into a tie game in the bottom of the 9th.....id prefer they use him in long relief if a starter has a bad outing or if the Mets had a significant lead. There's no room for error in the situation they threw him in.... and its simply not the role for him.
When the time came where Mendoza went to Diaz-aster... This uneasy feeling came over... The 'you just know' lump in the throat! You can't blame Megill for that loss, when Diaz is not a big game stopper and clearly has blown confidence!
Mendoza allowed Harper to hit made no sense, walk him instead of hitting a two run Homer. The Mets were in full control up 3-0. He left the starting pitcher in the game too long in my view.
In hindsight, Castellanos still hit his homer right after and he continued to do so, so there isn’t much option than to battle Harper when he’s up
We should have told severino before Bryce got up. He's got his number and he had done great to that point. Bring in a fresh arm and a different look and it's a different game.
That last pitch looked like it didn’t have much on it . Nunez and Smith neither of which were available is used in that situation

I can't listen to Todd Zeile anymore. It's time for a change. His stammering manner of speaking and that smoker's voice is very rough to listen to.
