Came here coz of the catchy Title, saw a lot of mixing but then stayed coz of the great songwriting. The video is great quality overall, the educational side, the vibes and colors, your speaking is concise... I'd say your strongest side is writing which is why I subbed. Also, the bald look suits you way better than the pic on your channel, and I mean it most positivly!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I'm still getting used to the bald look haha, thanks so much though. Hoping to document my album creation process and release plenty of videos in the future! Appreciate you man.
@@itsjonnyturner The quality of content is there, now the hard part of perseverence till luck comes your way. You gotta give it the opportunity to happen tho! Good luck, I'll be here :D
Can you share any tips on setting up your writing teamplate? The bass and drums sound locked in and massive. I'm wondering which pugins/samples these are and how much processing is on them I often struggle with "not liking" the whatever drum/bass sound I have in my sessions and always start fiddling with the sound/mixing instead of writing. But when I get to the sound I like, the sessions is prtty heavy on processing and the buffer size becomes unusable for recording. This endless "gotta tinker with the drum/bass sound and end up not writing anything" thing is the bane of my existence.
I've been there dude! I plan on releasing a video at some point about pre-mixed templates. Changed my life. But yeah I will have everything premixed, down to the guitar tone pre set so i can literally just record and not worry about the mix. I will still make minor adjustments here and there if I'm going for a particular sound. Keep an eye out for the video, I'll get around to it soon!
Not yet but i do plan on making a mixing series when the album is finished and i come to mix it all! This kit is a blend of ggd modern and massive and p3 signature
Thanks man! It's actually a plugin called the inferno bass by buster odeholm. It's a sampled dingwall bass with built in tone options. Then I've just mixed it into my project, it sounds huge!
@@itsjonnyturnerYou make this sound huge! Edit: I do recognize the Dingwall sound, but was not able to recognize Djinnbass… now I know! your bass sounds MASSIVE! Thank you for the answer! Keep up the good work! 👌
based title, same. great work on the vid too

Chockin N Brickly!! This song is gonna slay dude! Thanks for these tips man. Subbed.
If there isn’t a song named chockin n brickly on the album, I have failed you all
