    Shut up about the roids. Sure, they do em. Sure, it helps them get this huge. However, don't think for a second that simply injecting a few anabolics and lifting a few times a week are how they got like this. These guys spend hours a day in the gym lifting and just as much time in the kitchen getting their diets perfect. 99% of people couldn't work as hard as these guys do or diet as hard as them even if they were on steroids as well.

    Ppl keep saying steroids . And all you drink alcohol and smoke . Thats your drug choice. And roids is there's. Theres just make them look better .

    If these guys didn't take roids they would still have great physiques, just smaller, most people who take roids don't look this, I love bodybuilding but I don't love the direction it has gone, the sport is projecting a ideal of that can't be reached naturally.

      Lynn Phillips Finally someone with a brain who understands what the whole picture is....just feeling good about doing something with there life & staying positive when things get tough....i think Phil will bring back some old school but the sport needs to make money and for the shows people only want to see the BIG guys

      Thank you, and yeah, people don't just want to see bigger, they want to see the freakiness of it, people love freaks and Thais wjay these men have become, and I mean maybe if bodybuilding changed it's image to how it was back in the 40's in the sense that evronr is natural, and make it classy, then maybe it could attracted the right crowd, a rich artsy crowd,

YOU BECOME THE DRUGS. The weightlifting and professional pursuits become secondary.

    people, who think bodybuilders are all about steroids, grow up and try go to the gym 5-6 days a week yourself, eat healthy food, lift heavy, and do what is right for your body, you WILL see that if maybe not in a year, but years, you will get a good looking body as well, for some it takes more years than others, but I can guarantee yopu lifting heavy aint something that just comes with steroids, its achievable by working HARD, like winning football matches is achievable by working hard, just like running 100m sprint, and set a record, is achievable, by working HARD! start working hard instead of spreading shit about those who do.

    • @ITAngel
      @ITAngel 10 років тому +4

      You need to look at it this way. On steroids you get it faster but you also lose it faster and brings a huge crap list of issues. Some some are small and to others are big. I feel is to much of a risk to even find out, so the best thing to do is. Start, keep motivated and set a few sets of goals. 12-weeks transformation, 6-months after and then make it a 1-year. However; your final goal should be set at around 10-15 years or better yet a life-time. You will be as big as these guys by eating, supplementation, training hard, motivating yourself daily, and like others said. "Remember why you started," and only you can make the change no one else can do it for you. is a life-time goal, is a life change by changing bad habits into good ones.
      I did a huge transformation from 128lbs to 185lbs in 8 months with 6% body fat at 6"0 tall. I believe hard work, dedication will make it happen. Now I am back on square 1 doing it all over again. XD

    • @kpride4life

      In my opinion, yes. It just takes longer. But most body builders achieve a physique beyond "normal" capability which is impressive.

    • @gnarlybudz
      @gnarlybudz 10 років тому +18

      Its pretty much impossible to be that size+muscle+vascular+shredded without roids. Its obviously possible but so is anything. Nobody has achieved anything like that today. Just look at the difference between mr olympia and the all natural tournaments. both men train the same and eat the same. But one uses roids and one doesnt

      @MrAwesome__ 10 років тому +1

      gnarlybudz natural bodybuilders don't eat as much, because they ain't as big as mr olympia. And they can't train the same, because their muscles aren't juiced up...so they fatigue earlier then someone on roids.

      Well, usually bodybuilders tend to go to gyms where other heavyweight bodybuilders go to and it's common knowledge that flexing between sets helps you establish a better mind-muscle connection and improve the overall feel during workouts. It may be weird for people who go to gyms that are favored among us ''regular'' folks but between pro bodybuilders, flexing is completely normal. Even if it means stripping down to your underwear.

    • @GruntHangman
      @GruntHangman 10 років тому

      Santeri Hakala Aaand they might also flex cause they're bodybuilders and they need to see what muscle needs improvement

    its pathetic, the whole thing, the concept, the idea, the determination, the ignorance, everything thhis video represents is pathetic. How can they promote bodybuilding if they all juice to get were they are, how is that motivation. It is a contest of seeing who is the one that can put more steroids in their blood. How about hard work, how about training for years and years non stop. Not just training hard when they are on the juice. They took the shortcut, that real athletes dont take to fufill their dreams. And yes, I know the hard work it takes, but it is not something to be proud of, because the concept of all the hard work is wrong from the begining. No respect for Jay cutler.

    • @fionnodonnell3101
      @fionnodonnell3101 9 років тому +4

      John Trollander steroids isn't cheating, its even more commitment, you should probably do more research before commenting bullshit like this mate, plus they are regularly checked from doctors through various tests and medications for the steroids they take to be more safe. This is hard work, they cut out all other aspects of their life and put every factor of commitment into their body compostion from stopping going out for a night out or force eating, As they say live like a lamb or live like a lion.
      standard knob head

    • @marcobeltran2872
      @marcobeltran2872 9 років тому

      Fionn O'Donnell more commitment, fuck you, I dont take steroids, and train harder than all the idiots in my town that take them. You wanna talk about commitment, try working as hard as posible every day with little to no gains, and doing it every day. Everyone can workout with optimum gains, there is no discipline in that, discipline is working when its hard not easy, you do some reasearch. Or what you are talking about diets???? cmon bro, people in the bodybuilding world say it is all about nutrtion, and yes indeed it is, when you juice nutrition is the most important, because the juice is building muscle, all you need to do is to eat. Whenyou dont take shit, nutrition is not close to enough, you need to really fucking train hard. So fuck you and your stupid comment

    Actually they do use the supplements. But yeah includes steroids as well. But when people say they would look like everybody else I just laugh. They still have better genetics. Actually bone structure and muscle insertions are the most important building a physique. I actually think one can carry more muscle if you got this, then someone that don't got it. Compared natural.

BODYBUILDING is my life!

  • @BloodWolf7290
    @BloodWolf7290 11 років тому

    BB is a sport because it requires mental and physical dedication and determination. More than that it is a complete individual sport. You have no one who will forge you into greatness but yourself. You have no one who will bring you to failure but yourself. You're right you summed up the sport in 4 words, just like track is just running and sprinting. Just because you sum up a sport in 1-5 words doesn't make it any less of a sport.

    I never compared it to the olympics. Re-read my comment. I said other sports have the olympics but bodybuilding is isolated for the Olympia. Steroids is used not to cheat in BB like it is for other sports but it is essential for an IFBB Pro Bodybuilder to take if they wish to compete in the olympia. Don't criticize a sport that you have failed at or have no clue about.

  • @BloodWolf7290
    @BloodWolf7290 11 років тому

    Football is a sport and its not in the Olympics. And Bodybuilding has the olympia. In addition to that power lifting IS in the Olympics. You just don't know shit. People like you are so quick to judge. You don't and will never have the passion to apply yourself to this sport. And that's why you go off by what your close minded head allows you to see.

    The fool screaming during the barbell duck walks looks a little torturous, but the diet and other training stuff seemed very familiar and necessary to accomplish a great goal. People mock bodybuilders and use the lazy copout excuse "they all do steroids"... but only real athletes who train like this know what it takes to gain real muscle and the purity of mind it gives you. GET FIT OR STAY STUPID!

    feel sorry for all you kids watching this who think if they eat chicken breast and potatoes and or broccoli all day, and work out 4-6 days a week with a bodybuilding programme they found on the net or some muscle mag from the newsstands, that they too will look like the guys on the video . news flash you wont , not even close, no matter how much determination, discipline and sacrifices you make. It aint gonna happen, not unless you take copious amounts of drugs

    Again, its not all steroids that make these physiques. However, steroids are in the equation. Train very hard, youl get bigger & stronger. Train Hard & eat right and youl look much more muscular. Train hard, eat right, recuperate enough and your one of the better physiques in your gym in time. Train hard, eat right, rest, use supplements, ur really takin it to the next level so many dont get to. Add drugs and your a monster. Add in drugs AND 1 in 6 billion genetics and ur going for the Olympia.

    Nothing bad about roids imo-they compensate for fucked up genetics. As for the "Find a goal" part...haha come on, is being the largest human u can be, eating and farting the most u can considered a goal nowadays? That comes from the peek of evolution- the MAN...srsly,if that's the best some guys can give to the World I feel sry for them.Train, be healthy, feel good, dont make lifting stuff and taking place your life mission...

    Can't help but think that this the most challenging sport on the planet. It's totally subjective. That's challenging - you can't win by a hundredth of a second but by the opinion of a judge. Not just challenging - terrifying - for anyone who competes you have to be all things to all men. That's very hard. And steroids ? Cheating ? If you can use that tool to help you win - and bodybuilding requires a thousand activities beyond medication - Then you must do it.

    Man i was realy gaining well eating well doing my diet and my workouts. Until somthings happend in my life. 8 months ago my mom passed away, and i know you dont care about it. But then the training stopped so did my motivation and my diet. Untill i saw this clip. I got more motivated every fucking week because i know that my mom looks down upon me and she wants me to continue bodybuilding, Now im getting stronger every week. I write this with tears in my eyes. But i know that i can make it.

    You want to call it cheating? go ahead man, you do that, just don't bash people for using them just because you don't agree with it, these people are dedicating their entire lives to bodybuilding, you should instead hate on people that use drugs to get "high", bodybuilders are just doing what they love and making their dreams a reality, and what are you doing...constantly commenting on videos and spreading pointless hatred.

    When he eats 10-12 meals a day, all containing large amounts of proteins.... "Greene has never failed and drug tests, and that should give him the benefit of the doubt. The hours that he has been in the gym are more than many other people in his same type of sport. It shows that he is completed dedicated to bodybuilding, and to creating a body that is going to keep winning time and time again, even against some very stiff competitors." Have you ever tried Aston Muscle Ripper?
    Maybe it could help you get your beach body for the summer in a clever way - and most importantly - get you on the right path, for an outstanding body like it actually did for thousands upon thousands of people who used it.
    I compared this to different programs, and Aston Muscle Ripper always works significantly better. It is purely awesome! You will discover on your own exactly why, (simply run a Google search for "Aston Muscle Ripper").

    I admire the lifestyle of bodybuilding.Its not about the steroids,its about the passion and loyalty towards the amount of discipline you perform through out your life.Your mind plays the biggest part,motivation is key to success.
    Bodybuilders have no thought on what others think of them...they live for the gym,no one else.We don't drink,party and fool around as others do,we enjoy an controlled environment.
    Bodybuilders are not concerned about the amount of weight they lift,they primarily concentrate on form,contraction and breathing throughout the entire motion of exercise.

  • @TheBber91
    @TheBber91 11 років тому

    True, I find it easier to focus if you party though, keeps your mind on something else and you appreciate the lifting more when its time, I just bring protein bars in my pocket, sleep 1-2 Hours before i go out and cut the alcohol, I dont really think you have to cut party 100% for bodybuilding, maybe if you go pro or prep for a contest but...

    First of all everybody can say their opinion.
    Second the bodybuilders these days train hard ofc and eat healthy, but the truth is that in is a chemical war. Earlier years of bodybuilding was better, they used steroids not growth hormones, you could actually see the muscles and how ripped they was. Now you just see huge monsters. That is not nice, and they die fast :/

    I gave this a thumbs up, and I agree with what a lot of what you said. A LOT of hard work goes into their physiques. Let's be honest though, many of them do use some sort of illegal drugs to help get to that point. Sure, not all of them but some. Not being a hater at all; I totally respect them, in fact. But it's just the truth.

  • @guitarphreak100
    @guitarphreak100 11 років тому

    It's mainly that they eat perfectly and train a lot harder then you have. And steroids are just that little boost to get them that much more defined and just that much bigger. The real work is in the kitchen and at the gym though so don't just put the blame for them being so much bigger than you on steroids.

  • @danielhatch5265
    @danielhatch5265 11 років тому

    Firstly, You're**
    Secondly, I have to disagree, steroids work well. So well that an average Joe, who trains a 4/5 day split can afford to eat shit, skip cardio, sleep less, train softer and still blow out of the water (in terms of results) his natural counterpart. You don't need to be strict or overly dedicated to get results on roids.
    That being said these guys are legit.

  • @sirsmokinstien

    ... why did you put quotation marks around steroids ? You don't need that there.
    maybe if there was some confusion to weather or not steroids are in fact steroids, or some sort of new drug that is argued to not technically be steroids. but yeah, ...... you didn't need to use quotation marks ... is my point

    Don't get me wrong I absolutely love to see videos like these and it makes me wanna get back in the gym but I just wish they had a channel like these for people who just take Protein, or multivitamins and compare myself and see what I could become without using these other things like testosterone boosters and etc.
    But Excellent Videos man keep it up!

    bodybuilding is not a sport, because sport consists of of physikal part (which bodybuilding obviously has) and technic (skill (wich bodybuilding hasnt )) so i think its not a sport, also the goal is to look "good" and i think sport is about being fastes or doing some movements as close as ossible to an given optimum.
    ps have fun haters

    Regardless of roiding or not, people need to recognise the legitimate hard work which goes along with it. You can't just take steroids and sit at home on the couch and get big. Also majority of people who do use are professionals on the highest level. Great post btw.

    Lol it makes me laugh that you try to defend these guys. Yes these guys do put in a lot of hard work. But when you read up about these guys they have openly admitted to taking steroids XD But at that i say who gives a fuck if they do take there choice.... LET THEM GET ON WITH WHAT THEY DO!!!!
