Thanks a lot for this video! I loved to hear the explanation in Italian, it's much richer than someone speaking English with more difficulty. The mandolino is a very cool instrument ;)
Intresting video! There are classical music written for mandolin, too. Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Paganini, Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler, Shostakovich and a lot of composers wrote music for mandolin.
It's truly bizarre how similar my riffs are to this, because I've never listened to Italian mandolin before. I just play ukulele in fifths, and a lot of this is familiar..
Hi! This is a very nice video about a amazing instrument. I recommend to you a search about a musician from Brazil, his name is ARMANDINHO MACEDO, many people overthere believe he is the best mandolin player in the world. I think he still play the instrument.
Thanks for sharing. As an idea, maybe you could turn on another lamp when shooting, so that your viewers can discern the facial expressions of the player while performing.
@@xhonshehu9703 sounds great :) If you have any recommendations for performers I can interview, let me know! You can email me at james (at) jameshodson.com :D
Great video! Mr Redini has such a beautifully clear and crisp intonation, and the selection of examples was very enjoyable.

Funny how in Italian curved is “curva” (sounds like). In Eastern European countries it is a bad word worse than bitch.
Haha yep! I noticed that too :)
