I truly wish every woman over 40 would watch your videos! Such great info and easy to incorporate into your own wardrobe. I am SO SICK of the sloppy, couch potato clothes I see on the streets anymore. As you demonstrated, it doesn't take much effort (folks are SO lazy these days) or money to look great, even in casual clothes. It's all about the quality of the "Lounge wear" and the accessories. Thank you!
I really dislike the sloppy look and also dislike the yoga pant / leggings that are just everywhere . It actually made me consciously decide to stop going where people dress like that ( which is almost everywhere ) . I recently was in a town where people actually put some thought into their attire and it was such a nice change !
I always look forward to your videos. Glad this one was about being casual. Best for us retired women who seldom have the need to “dress up”. I also love the links for everything you wear in the videos ❤️
Really cute outfits Heather ! Sadly I am guilty of wearing slouchy comfy clothes around the house. You are right though, when I have on an outfit like that someone always stops by ! I now have some cute comfy clothes and I donated the slouchy ones ! Thanks for the great ideas !!!
Thank you for your suggestions. I dress casually (I am retired) but I try never to be sloppy looking. I wear a lot of athleisure pants or jeans. I do wear leggings occasionally but I dislike the tightness. I prefer athleisure pants with the yoga waistband. They are pull-on.
Oh I like your leggings outfit, and by adding the quilted vest it's even more stylish. This is my favorite. All these styles are very nice. I look forward to your leggings video. 😊 Really enjoy your videos 🤗❤️
My husband and I had to get our eye exams today. I wore jeans, with my stretchy belt, and a t shirt. I looked okay. And I didn’t feel like I needed to dress up. It was actually cool enough for me to wear jeans. I’m loving this weather. I know it’s not going to last long. So I’m enjoying it while I can.
Its well worth making an effort to get properly dressed every day. That way, every time you catch a glimpse of your reflection as you go past the mirror or the window, you get a boost.
Hi My figure is a lot like yours. I'm 5 ft 2 in. And carry my weight in the tummy area. Would you please include the sizes you get?? Thank you, as this would be very helpful 😊
I don't mention the size I buy because I always say to measure yourself and use your own measurements against each item's size chart to avoid returns online. Hope this helps Ellen.
THANK YOU!!! I stay home a lot and I've gotten into the habit of wearing men's jogging pants. You know, the old fashioned, gray, elastic waist and elastic around the ankles. They are awful but I've gained almost 20 pds this past year. I have been stress eating because my 27 year old son received some scary news about his health. He's going through more testing now. Anyway, then I had Achilles tendonitis ALL summer and was in physical therapy. I couldn't walk much at all. So I gained weight. 🙁 What I really really want are matching jogging outfits. I can't find them anywhere! I loved those back in the day. If you know where on earth I can find them, please let me know! I love all these looks in the video. I just don't want to spend a lot on "house" clothes..... clothes I clean in and cook in. Walk my dog in. I want the very basic old fashioned jogging outfits.
@@americafirst9144 my Walmart doesn't. They used to. I can't seem to find them on Amazon. I've found something similar but the fit was weird. I had to send back. I'll keep on looking. Thanks.
Walmart used to sell womens Hanes sweat pants and sweat shirts in all different colors. This is going back to the early '90s. I loved them. They were very cheap, too. Now the sweat pants and sweatshirts they sell I do not like and the sizing is really off. Small is not small, it is huge on the waist and very long in length. I know my post doesn't help you any because it's about the past. I just miss those sweat pants. They were fleece in the inside. So many sweatpants don't have fleece inside anymore.
@@BlueMountain2017 I also remember those Hanes sweat pants and matching sweat shirts. And I FOUND THEM! Lol. I went to the men's department at Walmart and there they were. I got a pair of powder blue jogging pants with elastic in large and they fit perfectly. I couldn't find the matching sweatshirt though and that's ok. Plus I finally found some on Amazon. They are called Hanes Eco Smart and they have an elastic flat front band. Not like the old fashioned elastic with drawstring. I got a blue and gray pair in large. For reference, I'm 5ft 6, about 184 pds and apple shaped. These are SOOOOOO comfortable. One pair is cuffed at the bottom and the other isn't. I like both. They are exactly what I needed. I can clean the house AND take my dog for a walk. So glad I finally found what I was looking for. 😉

The one day you run out schlumpy "just for a minute" is the day you run into someone from your past, lol.
So true hahaha
Isn’t that the truth!
So true!
My wardrobe changed when I started calling pajama pants, "lounge pants.". Haha thanks, Heather!
I know what you mean LOL

Love the outfits you showed. You have a good eye for chic clothes. Got to order the stretchy belt. Love and Kindness, Teresa
Thank you so much and I hope you love those belts as much as I do!
I bought 3 stretchy belts at your advice. You wouldn't believe the compliments I got on my trenchcoat cinched
Yay! Glad to hear that!
Thanks. These are fabulous ideas.

That's exactly why I always wear a little makeup. Even did during the Covid quarantine! 😊
