Very happy for your new van. You deserve it. Just want to say your Dewalt battery setup is cool. I would encourage you to install a double pole/double throw switch so with the flip of a switch you can switch power supply. It's about a $5 switch and about 10 minutes to install and wire. You will thank me later.

Looks like its well appointed for your specific work!
There is a debate for service/repair carpentry, to raise the floor for sheet-goods ,levels, and guide rails below.
Can be more aggravating on entrance/exit.
Currently installing carpentry for a single shop, cabinets get all the floor space...except for 1 rolling mitersaw stand on end,and 1 rolling stack.
All extra packout is hung up high on the walls, cantilevered over cabinets below.
At 47 an integrated long ramp is the greatest time and back saver, dropping the ramp on a porch and rolling materials and tools directly into the home is absolutely/undeniably amazing.
The long ramp, furniture dollies and packout saves 1.5 hrs labor per day.
One guy can roll a 6ft long fully dressed 120lb base cabinet on/off the truck by himself,vs 2 guys carrying.
Thanks again for another well thought out video Spencer!

We have a composite wood floor. It’s like a piece of birch with a hard melamine honeycomb (raised) on it. The 159” kit is two pieces and the mate like a puzzle piece. The hold downs they sent hold down extensions set to reuse. The trim out at the back, slider, and wall liners are diamondplate. Glad you got rid of the rubber it sucks trying to slide stuff in and out where it digs in. We have some tall folks and we made brackets to cant the cab panel to allow more recline.
Glad you brought up the wall liners and the dents. Surprised people aren’t crying it’s a work van. Well that van is a reflection of your business and it’s got to look clean.
Last thing you might like is adding an inverter and remote jump posts. We have different vans but it’s a PITA to get at under the driver seat. We did both at the same time. Nice work!
Edit it’s a legend fleet the KK-plus style floor.

I use a deep cycle battery and a 3000w power inverter for lights and power tools and charging batteries. I flip the switch on at the dash.
Large wire runs from alternator to isolator to deep cycle battery and it charges when the truck is running.
The isolator makes sure the van's battery stays charged and the deep cycle is for tools

Excellent tips, overview and ideas. You can see the business attitude, times vs cost of custom materials, run into it a lot in our small business. My boys and wife remind me all the time ,,,,,
I'd buy the floor and sidewall material, custom, etc in a heartbeat, have helped several installs of various materials, it's a lot of work.
My time is worth so much more that fooling around to make things that can be bought.
Coroplast is the plastic material Spencer is talking about for the walls. Think sign makers etc.
Battery assist for the lights is very clever.

For the floor of my transit 250 mid roof- I stripped it down, cut 1/2” ply to cover the entire floor, put tons of PL adhesive on the ribs, laid the ply down, weighed it down with a bunch of heavy crap, then put the stock rubber mat back over.
So it’s smooth, but still has the nice mat, and you can screw your built ins right to it for more strength and an easier install.
The stock floor trim pieces cover the edges of the mat, and the ply goes right up to the trim, so you never see the ply and have a super smooth transition between the mat and the trim.

Hey Spencer, Here in California contracting businesses are required by law(Contractors State License Board) to have signage (though a lot of smaller contractors don't do it and there is usually no enforcement of it unless a contractor screws up badly & gets a complaint filed against him). Like you, I have signs on the side of my work truck, but no phone number, as a "branding" feature.
