    Just bought one of these to cut the bottom off a door. Worked perfectly. Brilliant little saw. Very straight. Very smooth. Perfect.

    How long does the carbide blade last? If i cut timber and plywood

    • @diymanual
      @diymanual  7 місяців тому

      It depends on the quality of the carbide blade and how often you use it. Generally, a good quality carbide blade can last for a long time if used on timber and plywood. I'm still on my original blade.

      @@diymanual thank you, do you suggest Hychika own blade or different brand?

    • @diymanual
      @diymanual  7 місяців тому +1

      You can use any brand. You can buy better blade especially if you will be using this a lot or if you are planning on cutting hard woods. I don't have any problem with the supplied blade for my occasional use cutting 2x4 and 2x6's.

    The guard on mine is barely moving. How do I fix it?

      You may want to check the turn knob. It may be loose and not engaging the teeth properly when you turn it.
