Fun day out in Queensland on Easter Friday driving the Mount Mee trails with a bunch a Jimny’s and a few other rigs aswell.
The day starts of pretty cruisy with A Break providing some early entertainment. Later in the day we found a playpen off the main track where we could jump into low range and test the rigs out.
Our drive started at Dayboro heading up Range Road Forest Drive, Jacky Creek Rd, Byron Creek Rd and then up A Break. From there we stopped for lunch at the Gantry before continuing north up Mount Mee Forest Drive, L Traverse and finally Lovedays Rd.
Huge Thankyou to @thatscompletesam, @0_caj_0 and @alexb0_o for the extra camera footage to make this video 😊
Amazing documentation and it seems everybody enjoy with their Jimny's
Magic day out. We do this once a month with the Suzuki club in South Africa. Great to see jimmy’s all around the world being used for what they were built for and people enjoying themselves 😎
Absolutely mate 😊
Love the vid!! Seeing everyone do A Break was such a treat!! Still on a high from such a fun day - watching all the Jimnys bring it!
Thankyou! Yes was a great day with awesome people as always 😊
Great Great Great.. Amazing Awesome Sir All of You .. 😍😎👍
Wow Thankyou very much mate 😊🙏
What a great video to showcase the day Daz! Can’t wait for the next one 😊
Thankyou so much Jen! Was such a good day 😊
Hi, great video did that drive like 12 years ago. Looking at doping it this weekend but forgot which road to turn off from Dayboro. How do you get to Range rd from Dayboro?
Hey mate 😊 You get onto it via Lacey’s Creek Rd. Have fun!
Or you can go Chambers Rd if you just want to start near the Gantry
Now i can relive the day over again!! Awesome vid Daz!
Yeoooowww 😊 Thanks heaps Sammy!
Nice work bugger I missed the after lunch
Yeah got a bit crazy after lunch. The video doesn’t show the hours we took trying to recover people’s vehicles in the playpen haha
Damn, shame I was working! Looks like a good day out!
Yeah mate was great fun. Next time 😊👌🏻
A fun day out for sure.
Would like to know more about that airbag Jack. Like brand and what was filling it?
Hey mate, that’s my 2 tonne exhaust jack which I purchased from outbackequipment.com.au. It’s filling directly from my exhaust (I parked just in front of the car with the flat). We had the jack on its side here, but if you stand it upright it lifts about 80cm 😊🤙🏼
@@TheLittleRig Awesome, thank you for that🙏🏻
Keen to include something like that in my recovery kit for more Simpson desert adventures later in the year👌
Yeah I bought it because you can use it safely in sand and mud etc aswell. I haven’t had to use it for myself yet but it’s got my mates out of trouble twice, so it’s paid for itself already 😊
One thing to note it I did have to chop the very tip of my exhaust to make it a straight cut end rather than the tapered edge it was stock. You need a straight edge to fit the attachment properly. 5 minute though. 🤙🏼
@@TheLittleRig Great info. I was wondering about the exhaust fit. I see the Bushranger bag requires a 3 inch exhaust.
Oh wow... yeah this definitely works perfect with the stock Jimny exhaust. Pumps up faster obviously if you’re just have someone pushing on the accelerator at the same time 😊
Would love to know exactly where the play hills are.
Awesome
Thankyou mate 😊😊
@@TheLittleRig as always, ride safe! 😉
Amigo no supimos si subieron los últimos jimnys y la hilux. Pero me gusta tus rutas son extremas . Saludos desde México. Donde es ese lugar
Yes my friend they are very very capable! This place is in Queensland Australia 😊
@@TheLittleRig un destino en mi lista de deseos. Chingon amigo
The last two jimnys going up the hill starting at 6:13 sound whinny from the gearbox. My new one has a pronounced whine, quite loud, is this normal for a jimny??
Very very normal mate. It’s the transfer case chain. Every new jimny worldwide develops this whine. Don’t be concerned about it at all :)
Thanks mate, you've put me at ease now! Hasn't done 100km and sounds like my father's old 1950's non-syncro Hillman, must say was quite a shock as I never test drove one before buying. 👍
👍👍👍
😊😊😊
Can tell its an Aussie club....check out the bloke having a pee, in the background, at the start !!!!!
Oh god I never even noticed that 😂😂😂
Same in South Africa. Buggers 😂
Why people love this car?
Solid axles, ladder frame chassis, dedicated low range gearing, short wheel base..... one of the most capable off road vehicles ever made. Plus they’re so much fun to drive. 🤙🏼
And on top , You van buy 3 Jimny for the prince of a nez Defender !
Exactly right 😊👌🏻
