Thank you my friend. Hey it’s fine, I am improving, but in the end as long as I get to have fun playing the game with good friends then I am happy.

Thank you Keith. its true, we really just seemed to click from the very first time we met and as I say to smithy, we are very different both in age and size so we compliment each other rather well

Great video lads! Just a little comment, I’m no pro and you may have heard this many times before but I’ve watched all of your vids John and you often miss right off the tee. Have you ever noticed how far right you’re actual aiming to start with? A little work with your pro on alignment may save you an awful lot of shots. Just my two cents. Enjoyed the video as always mate, best wishes.

Hi there Mark, thank you for commenting and your advice. I totally agree that I have an issue with alignment. I do wonder if it’s because my eyesight is quite poor in my left eye so maybe I overcompensate looking at distances. My Driver is heavily weighted to stop a hook draw, and my normal shot is a gentle draw. But have been working on a change of swing, plus the Drive is now shortened and both Smithy and I discussed the other day off camera that my drives in particular went right, but actually went dead straight now.
I have only just started using my newly shortened Driver and am still heavily assuming it will go slight draw or heavy draw hook... which of course most of the time now... it doesn’t do lol.
But I totally agree that I need some alignment lesson.

BIG OGGIE GOLF Good on ya mate, just an observation. It’s very common for golfers to aim their body at the target rather than parallel to their target, which will cause the body to aim right. Best of luck with it mate

John, if I may, try the Jack Nicklaus way..stand 10 feet behind the ball, get your aim point and draw an imaginary line back to the ball. 2 feet from the ball the line goes over a leaf, or something you can see. Address the ball, looking at the leaf and square up to that 2 foot line. Hope that helps mate
