Thanks to my sainted Dad I was exposed to the most wondrous music. E; Kreisler plus Hot club of France My mother thankfully turned me onto opera. I had it all. Thank God.
Did anyone else come here just to see what Love's Joy was like after hearing Love's Sorrow from Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso?
+Aribah Hossain The Anime was effected so much to us
me
+Aribah Hossain SAME XD
+Aribah Hossain Yes
+Aribah Hossain hella yess
This really makes me want to learn either piano or violin so I can recreate these songs from your lie in april
I can play both.......... and yet......... I can't clone myself............... *face palm intensifies*
You should learn one. Instruments are amazing and I miss playing my viola. It was always so much fun
same i'm gonna get back into piano just because of the show
@@shimsicle Maybe you need a girlfriend to play with you XD
@@hahahaha-bm9xs SPOTS ARE OPEN NOW 😃👍👍
I can't feel the love's joy. I felt love's obsession.
+Maro Angel Try and listen Fritz playing
+Lucas Isaac yeah, I listened fritz's playing and I felt the joy of young lady.
its not really a 'love joy' its kind of happiness
obsession is a part of love. Like how you think about each other on everything that would normally happen in daily life, smiling and giggling like a weirdo. But it also can create a storm when something happen. you wouldn't call it love without obsession.
I felt her passion for love not joy.
I came here because someone said that Disney's musical opening is basically this one but rearranged.. and wow. So happy I read that comment.
Great and awesome !!! I can feel Spring's Spirit and Love's Joy so enough. Have a great new joyful week !!!
I adore this performance have seen it a few time but never subbed to channel till now. thank you for the beautiful peformance.
And I thought Love's sorrow was hard
Musicalbard14 loves sorrow is easy and beautiful at the same time and so is loves joy
I've always wondered... if you play for a long period of time, doesn't the violin start to hurt your neck and shoulders and stuff? I play piano but I've always wanted to try the violin! it has such a pretty sound!
aki amano You feel more soreness around the shoulder area and the forearms, ironically enough. You just get used to it though, and build up stamina as time passes. There's a reason why any sort of instrumentalist practices so much hehehe
No, there's this thing that's called a shoulder rest and it supports the violin on your chin. In order for it to be comfortable, the shoulder rest has to be the right fit
It extends the length of practice time, sure, but eventually you'll still feel soreness in the shoulder and forearms at the end of the day.
+aki amano Also very important is your chin rest. Most violins come with a low, flat plate chinrest on the left side of the instrument, but the styles vary greatly: deep, curved ones, high flat ones, ones that sit over the center (over the tailpiece). If you really want a comfortable feel with a violin, use a chinrest that matches and fits your chin and the way you hold your instrument.
+Jan Rupert “Yan” Alfeche yup, and also at the start your fingers skin (?) will shorta peel off ang it will hurt but as you practice you will get use to it, still a begginer though I get tired after 30 mins lol
Splendid!!!!
Bravo!! Brilliant and sweet!!!
Akiko, so lovely to watch and to listen.to!
very nice find indeed! Saturday jam
All of those shifts.
Just wonderful.
Loves sorrow hit hard
Beautiful interpretation!!!!!
Encantador! C:
wonderful
Liebesfreud, Liebestraum, Liebesleid, what's next Liebesblind?
Liebeslied (Love Song)
Liebesgruss love's greeting
i heard it in when they mention on your lie in april but love's sorrow is truly better
I agree,, I don't feel that enough emotion on “Love's Joy” but on the “Love's Sorrow” it even made me cry
@@pastelmellow427 well this piece isn't supposed to make you cry unless it's tears of joy
Wonderful.
I think i fell in love
This is beautiful but love sorrow hits different .. u know what I mean.
i came here cuz of your lie in april i want to play piano so bad
Same I started playing violin because of your lie in April
@@ikicktoddlers7996 Hi. How are you? I also play the violin for 6 years! Today I turned six years old! You started too, how nice! You wrote this comment three years ago, are you still continuing? Wishing you continued success!
She seems so happy till the middle
I play violin myself but I've never played this arrangement. It looks fun but hard. I personally enjoy loves sorrow better but loves joy sounds good and looks like fun to play. She's really good to but she looks angry or bored while playing
That isn't anger or boredom. That is concentration and passion. If she were not in the least bit interested in what she was playing, I very much doubt it would sound as spectacular as this does.
I agree she sounds not only angry, but very much angry.
@@jankodera5811 You just can't read faces good enough.
3:34 ... the very last chord from the pianist though...! I wonder if she mentioned it to Ms. Meyers after the performance :P
I don’t get it. Care to explain?
@@valentinaperez6212 The music is all building to the very final chord where the violin and piano finally come together, and then the pianist misses the key she needed to play... she's off by one and it's unpleasant to a musician's ear.
Liam R N I’m a musician and I can hear some dissonance but it’s not exactly unpleasant to hear for me. I’m a jazz player.
@@valentinaperez6212 that explains a lot lol
¿Que hace el señor al lado de la pianista? ¿What´s the guy next to de pianist doing?
Ahh, da vuelta las páginas, que incómodo... oh, He turns the pages, akward...
her skills are spectacular but I'm not a fan of this song I like it's opposite love's sorrow but that because it's real and I only ever see love's sorrow I've never seen its joy
Matallic Blades Damn, you need a hug?
justin anderson I need one. Cone here
Cool
that violin though.
Disney?? Anyone hear it?
Is anyone here because of Extraordinary you??? 😂
but then joy comes back
What is the role of that person behind the pianist?
I saw that he is moving the pages of the sheet for the pianist
your lie in April??
No, Fritz Kreisler.
I came here cz it was included in a manhwa 😭
I think that maxim vengerovs performance is more accurate to the original than hers.. :) she's playing it more in her own way but she has my respect nontheless. sorry for my bad english
This one?

this is the one played by keiko in her japan drama BUZZERBEAT
Anyone here after watching 2D1N?
Who came here because of 2D1N? 1박2일 😁
Pov :You come here because of Extra-ordinary you
Shigatsu?
AnnyBannany kinda. This isn't even featured there, but its counterpart (Love's Sorrow) is
I know, but it's mentioned
I really don't like this song its too bubbly and sweet I think libesleid is better I'm not sure what that says about me as a person
No, I'm really sorry, I can't get with this
I might be alone in this impression but dislike her performing. For my taste too hursh played in many parts, although violine sound extraordinary.
IMHO this is clear case when very good violine does not make a very good player if this piece is taken as reference.
I think this harshness you are talking about is partly caused by the often occurring percussive slapping at the strings.
@@sneddley Yes. She is performing the peace as if it is millitary marching! On the contrary, here is the far better performance, perfectly balanced:
ua-cam.com/video/jV9SoGaNP1M/v-deo.html
Thank you! I thoroughly enjoyed this performance by Zia Hyunsu Shin that you recommended. She has the kind of lightness and charm i look for in this piece and it was so well played.
Energetic and tender at the same time without the dreaded “killer down bow accents” and shrieking shifts in the melodic parts. Thanks again!
@@sneddley You are very welcome. I play violin myself for pleasure and that helps tremendously in differentiating between performances of others.
People are often blindly fanatic about their performer. It happened recently I criticised performance of some Chinese virtuoso who virtually raped Hora Staccato by Diniku: a China guy from HK responded by cursing me and condeming my whole family (!) and a lot of other bed stuff because simply he likes "speed".
Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso
Fritz Kreisler.
