I have no idea, but bland or blank seems to make the most sense in the context. I initially heard the chorus as “his pleading soul”, but after listening several time I think they say “bleeding”. Or fleeting? I’m uncertain. I also am not confidant that it ends with “fate”, but I can’t really think of another word that fits the sound and context. The line “you’ve sunken to the abyss” is very possibly “you’ve sunk in to the abyss”. The nuance in meaning is so minor that it really doesn’t matter, but the latter is probably proper English. At least it conveys the same idea either way.
