Meg Langston It is amazing what Enigma music does to me. You are not the only one. It takes me somewhere I never been but it's like a distant memory of somewhere I been to before. It's hard to explain but it's a peaceful place and the melodies make it even more beautiful and at times erotic. I love Enigma.

I really thank you Mr. Cretu for making official videos for singles that were not officially released at its time as "The Voice Of Enigma" or "Knocking On Forbidden Doors" for the album "MCMXC a.D."; but what he cannot understand until now, how is it possible that he has not made an official video of the best song he has created in his entire career (in my humble opinion), I mean "Prism of Life" from the album "Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!" Please Mr. Michael Cretu if you ever read this message, please beg him to make an official video for "Prism of Life", you don't think a masterpiece like that deserves its own music video. Amen!
The only bad thing about this song is its 2:48 long. It should've been 248 hours long, I'd still listen in the repeated mode whenever I felt like leaving the earthly worries and floating in the heavens..

This is in my top 5 Enigma songs. To me, it sounds like the vocalist is remembering a joyful time in his past with his "yearning" type of sound when he sings. Makes me think of late afternoons in the summer as a child. Just my interpretation of the song :)

..I like this E7 album, it's kind of a return to the E2 in structure - thematicaly independent song after independent song, thus the album overall is not ''greater than the sum of it parts''.. This is just a collection of mostly excellent songs in a field of current diverse world music 'sounds' (I don't really 'spirtually' care about the main album theme .. that we ''all have the same parents'', or such mundial mumbo jumbo new age cliche) , be it Chinese dingongs mixed with European romanticism / classicism, or Catalan folk (oh, I like folk) with dunno African drumms, whateva.., it is all gorgeous and layered.. But I passionately don't appreciete this 2'48'' of overrecycled sampling. Lazy taking from a perfect E3 stuff. Couldn't Cretu just find and employ some another chant?
