I can't envision a scenario in which a guy being paid 9 mil a year goes to the athletic department and says "If we want to be a team that's consistently tough to play against and mentally prepared week in and week out, I'm probably not the guy that should be holding the clipboard" We just look like a team that bought into it's hype way too early and didn't approach the season with the same mindset as last year. Losing seven guys to the draft plus Schrader along with the snaps and leadership that left with them is showing on the field. If nothing else, this an opportunity to accept being humbled and exposed then hopefully turn it into a positive going forward.
