Nice seeing your dad at 20 years old today. Glad this project is back on the radar! I won’t diss on the Corvette, sometimes you just got to ignore the negativity and have fun with it.
I was at a cruise night years ago. Had the rear sump like your Camaro was not a pretty thing. He was backing into a spot and one of those cement blocks caught the line and that was it. Ripped it right out I would really look into a different style tank that didn't hang so low other than that car is beautiful. Can't wait for more content and and the best part of the video was your father lol. I never seen that guy laugh like that. You could tell he was very excited and happy. I'd like to see more of that
Your Dad’s joy in driving is awesome!! You should bring Brian on when you work on the older one. He’s terrific. Congratulations on owning a really nice car!!
What a fantastic, 67❤❤! When I was six years old, my father was a Chevy dealer, a white, 1967 Camaro with the 327 in the four-speed. White with black racing stripes came into the show room. I was instantly in love, I polish that car every day I was at the garage. You are one lucky man to have two.
I’ve got a ‘68 that I’ve had sitting in the corner of my shop for 3 years now. This is motivation to pull it out and start the building process. Incredibly nice car man.
The 67 1/2 Camero is my favorite Camero with the rectangular taillights that reminds me of the '67 Impala station wagon with the 327 and Rochester 4 barrel carb my dad bought,it being one year old when he obtained it. It had rectangular tailights as well
15:47 your dad just became 18 yrs old again excellent 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 I’d have had to gifted him the car for Christmas seeing such a great man finding his childhood again was just awesome.
Reminds me of the movie "Better Off Dead" Camaro scene. You got the black Camaro, all you need is a couple of Asian guys who learned English listening to Howard Cosell, trying to race you and your French girlfriend in their little foreign car while you listen to "Mannish Boy" by Muddy Waters.
Hands down, and its not even close, that is the coolest car by my standards that you have ever had on your channel. I have seen your Dad on here many times but boy he just lit up when he got behind the wheel of this thing. I have never seen him that animated and joyful before. Love the way the car is finished and the sound is amazing. So glad this thing doesn't have slicks on it or crazy hood scoops, its perfect just as it is. Enjoy it!
Beautiful car. Your original 67 RS inspired me to do an LS3 swap on my 67SS. If you want something better than stock I highly recommend going with a Roadstershop SPEC chassis. I have one and it’s amazing.
That's a gorgeous car. Very nicely done. There's only one thing I would change on the car, and that's the pedals. I really like that he kept the interior stock looking, but the pedals look a little out of place, but that's just my opinion. The 67's have always been my favorite.
You and your dad. I love it! My dad's been gone for over 20 years and seeing you both sharing a ride, and laughing and smiling made me miss my dad a little more today. It's a beautiful '67! I'm looking forward to further updates on this one, and on your '67 that's waiting for you. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Throw some Q-logic kick panels and add some DD components in those and a sub or 2 in the trunk and you shouldn’t have a problem hearing the radio anymore. Bet that thing is an absolute torque monster being NA. It’d be fun with a supercharger sitting under the hood. Absolutely beautiful though.
Seeing you with your dad made my allergies act up. (Something must have gotten into my eyes.) My dad was an extremely clever engineer and car guy and I honestly miss him. Seeing you with your clever engineer dad makes my heart sing.
Congrats on the 67, I've had several camaros over the years... Had a 67 in high school, Now I have a 69SS, and a 2018 SS1LE. As you know they are just terrific cars. Looking forward to videos on them good luck
JR's Dad has just returned to the age of 21 & was mashing that loud pedal like a champ, wish I could get my Dad back in my Lotus 7 replica but he's 87 & won't fold like he used to 🤦♂️😜🤣🤣🤣
I own an all original numbers matching 67 RS convertible. It's marina blue with a white top. I really think you need to put the RS chrome back on, around the wheel wells, rocker panels, etc. Cars from the 60's on back were/are known for their chrome.
I always loved Brian’s 67. Now your insane Camaro. As you know I’m an intense Camaro owner. Looking forward to more Camaro videos. I’ll have to bring Beastie my 2010 to you again. It’s been awhile since you’ve seen it.
Awesome seeing that grin on JR Senior's face!!! Hope to see some videos of JR Jr cutting out/replacing rusty floor pans, trunk pan, how to cut a rusty fender/quarter at that body line and weld in new steel. As much as I love a sleek black car, I hope JR paints his one of those cool oddball but correct 1967 colors. Something like Mountain Green metallic, Emarald Turquoise, Granada gold, tahoe turquois, something you don't see at the car shows. Cortez silver isn't a correct color for a 1967 but damn does it look bitching.
Not a fan of leaf springs, except in pickup trucks. Hate that low fuel line in the back. It's a beauty. Can't believe you bought something that doesn't seem to need much work done.
The cowl tag will tell you if it is a real SS, and also if you loosen the rear bolts on the hood hinges that bolt to the fenders, you can lift up the hood and tighten the bolts to get the gap better when you shut the hood. 67's are the best with the vent windows, free AC!
Very nice Camaro JR and now the trick is to make it even better, the beauty of restomods are that each owner improves the car to keep it current with the best of the best components. They never get old they just keep getting better which is why they take the show prize every time.
Awesome new car.. I would change just one thing; The line in the back under the tank... That would eat me up, why can't you put that on the other side of the tank. Now that line is a big eyesore in the back.... Love the rest of the car though, especially the tuxedo look!
Lap belts , locking the door was a safety feature in 67 like the collapsing 😊steering column. I’ve had a 67 RS convertible since 1983. If it was me my friend, I’d put a drive shaft safety loop on the BB car and a skid plate to cover the fuel bung. I’ve been backwards on the highway at 60 mph in the rain , I talked to god that day ,, he said not today. Thanks for the video
19:19 Make it a '70 Mustang restomodded in the same way (but a built 351 rather than a big block), and you have my dream car. And don't listen to the fools who don't like the Vette, it's very fun.
This is the best car you have bought, much better than the super car's that everyone is building now a day's. This beats anything hoovie has for sure. Love you and your dad will be working on the same car. Always love seeing your dad, he was smiling so much, and you can tell he loves it. G-d bless.
Off-road Leroy is cool. I had a 427 '67 Chevelle that was built with the rock crusher. There is nothing like a BBC and how they sound and drive. One of my favorite cars that I ever had and mourn over having to sell it all those years ago. Thanks for buying this one, just hearing it was amazing.
Those hide away headlights have relays that mount under the left fender. Mine has always worked, but I did find the schematic for them. If it's a real ss car it should have a 12 bolt rear end with a link on the right axle tube that goes to the body.
Love the new ride and the old ones too. I think you should 3d Print a crazy body for the Corvette for off-roading, I love it. Love the memories you make with your dad. I wish mine was still alive for that too. Also you can't do that in an EV!
When you said you love each car for what it is its so much fun to put together different combinations & ideas together and enjoy the end result's. i have redone a 2nd gen camaro drive train and paint seats. but i always missed the original idea i put together as well. be nice to have a couple cars to do resto mod's on . 😉
I know this is a very random comment but I'm a Hot Wheels collector and I just found a '67 Camaro Super Treasure Hunt ...I absolutely love that piece and found this amazing video to see the real thing in action....just beautiful
Damn that thing is sweet and well built, nice lope and sound to it. Look forward to more content on it, they are so easy to work on. How much did you pay for it?
That is a perfect 67! I will have one like it in the future! I miss mine ,wish i hadn't sold it! Love the tuxedo black with the Z/28 stripes! Glad to see he spaced the rear stripes at the proper location! I hate to see them spaced the same distance apart that matches the front. Rears are wider spaced. That is just a beautiful 67!!!
I forgot you had the corvette. In Canada when I was growing up it was the 80s and muscle cars were rotting out, noisy, stinky, rich burning heaps of junk, so I never really grew to appreciate them. It's cool to see the older generation that grew up dreaming of these cars getting to enjoy them.
Easiest way to tell if you've got a super sport is to look for trim tag you'll either have the letter P which is a SS 350, the K which is a 375 hp 396 or the letter N, which is a 325 hp 396. yeah nah
The whole video was worth watching for your Dad's reaction. He was genuinely excited driving it!
Don't show Mom this video! 😂
100% facts
Nice seeing your dad at 20 years old today. Glad this project is back on the radar! I won’t diss on the Corvette, sometimes you just got to ignore the negativity and have fun with it.
SO glad you can share this w/ your Dad. 16 years now and I miss my Dad SO MUCH !! We used to have a ball together working on cars and things.
That fuel fitting sticking out the back would make me nervous.
Same, you really have to pull the fuel out of the sump like that, but it is low 🍻
I was at a cruise night years ago. Had the rear sump like your Camaro was not a pretty thing. He was backing into a spot and one of those cement blocks caught the line and that was it. Ripped it right out I would really look into a different style tank that didn't hang so low other than that car is beautiful. Yeah plenty of options for an FI tank versus that old style sump
Ugh, no. stick a tow bar on the back😂
Yeah I would definitely put a remote Sump under the hood and tuck that tank. Nice car though.
Is the over/under at 100k...seems legit.
Congrats on the new ride. You know it's good when your father likes it. Let's see if 100%Jake likes it.
Jake continually says it’s his favorite car 😳
I have loved this thing for years
Your Dad’s joy in driving is awesome!!
The smile on your dads face before he even started moving. Priceless
Seeing your dads reaction is always the best!
It had rectangular tailights as well
You should paint your other 67 White with black stripes, they would look crazy next to each other.
I kinda want to keep it Tuxedo as well since they were both factory colors, but white would look crazy! 💯
every car in the world should be tri coat pearl white .... caddilac or fords version either one
My 70 Chevelle is Toyota superwhite with tuxedo black stripes. It really is a killer combo.
When the AC compressor kicks on, that Big Block just chuckles. Torque for days. Very cool purchase.
15:47 your dad just became 18 yrs old again excellent 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I’d have had to gifted him the car for Christmas seeing such a great man finding his childhood again was just awesome.

Mr. Ross is a gem. Absolutely hilarious and to see the similarities between him and JR is great to watch. Happy holidays Ross’!!!
Hands down, and its not even close, that is the coolest car by my standards that you have ever had on your channel. The best part of this video is watching your dad whoop and holler! That was awesome!!! Unadulterated joy!!!
Alright! That thing sounds so nasty! And I totally love JR's Dad's reaction. 👍🏻
That’s a nice idle that I haven’t heard since I cruised Telegraph Road in the late 70’s.
I don't think I've seen your dad get so excited! Great stuff!
Always a good vid when you include your Dad. You can tell he really enjoys your toys.
Seeing you with your dad made my allergies act up. (Something must have gotten into my eyes.) My dad was an extremely clever engineer and car guy and I honestly miss him. Seeing you with your clever engineer dad makes my heart sing.
That's a fantastic car.... BY FAR my favorite vehicle you've ever had on the channel.... most channels prolly. So clean, so sinister.
What an Amazing 1967 Camaro... WOW Your Dad was Sure having fun...
Congrats on the 67, I've had several camaros over the years... Had a 67 in high school, Now I have a 69SS, and a 2018 SS1LE.
As you know they are just terrific cars. Looking forward to videos on them good luck
Dude....that big block loping like that. What a MONSTER. Perfect build.
You're dad's reaction was priceless. We all felt it.
JR's Dad has just returned to the age of 21 & was mashing that loud pedal like a champ, wish I could get my Dad back in my Lotus 7 replica but he's 87 & won't fold like he used to 🤦♂️😜🤣🤣🤣
That Camaro has all the right stuff. I am jealous. Congrats.
I own an all original numbers matching 67 RS convertible. It's marina blue with a white top. I really think you need to put the RS chrome back on, around the wheel wells, rocker panels, etc. Cars from the 60's on back were/are known for their chrome.

The smile on your dads face is priceless making those pulls! He jumped out of his chair when he heard it!
My brother in law owns the red Camaro that garage squad rebuilt and everytime I drive it it puts the same smile on my face! Congrats on the buy
Love the Camaro!!! Have your friends do a great detail and ceramic coat it !!!
"Don't show your mom this video" I love it!! So great seeing you and your dad out enjoying this badass car.
I love the look of pure joy on your dad's face. Priceless!
The cowl tag will tell you if it is a real SS, and also if you loosen the rear bolts on the hood hinges that bolt to the fenders, you can lift up the hood and tighten the bolts to get the gap better when you shut the hood. 67's are the best with the vent windows, free AC!
I could replay you guys driving and punching the throttle all day lol. What a sound and I can only imagine feeling that power🤙
Ross's smile was worth the watch! It was obvious he enjoyed it.
Very nice Camaro JR and now the trick is to make it even better, the beauty of restomods are that each owner improves the car to keep it current with the best of the best components. They never get old they just keep getting better which is why they take the show prize every time.
Pretty cool ride JR!! Your other one is pretty cool too and will be more so when it's completed. Always fun to see your Dad involved....he's great!
Awesome new car.. I would change just one thing; The line in the back under the tank... That would eat me up, why can't you put that on the other side of the tank. Now that line is a big eyesore in the back.... Love the rest of the car though, especially the tuxedo look!

Sweet! If the wheels take original style center caps I'd switch them for the disc brake or police centers. They look much better IMO.
This is way better than any Lambo! The off road corvette is cool!
Dude... that is pretty rad. Congrats. Sounds amazing. You can sure tell your Dad loved that car.
19:19 Make it a '70 Mustang restomodded in the same way (but a built 351 rather than a big block), and you have my dream car. And don't listen to the fools who don't like the Vette, it's very fun.
My mom had a '68 Camero when I was a kid, so I'm pretty partial to these cars. Have fun with it.
This is the best car you have bought, much better than the super car's that everyone is building now a day's. This beats anything hoovie has for sure. Love you and your dad will be working on the same car. Always love seeing your dad, he was smiling so much, and you can tell he loves it. G-d bless.
That is absolutely what a muscle car is supposed to sound and look like!!! That’s awesome!! My dream car has always been a 68 Camaro Convertible!! ❤️
The look on your Dad's face is awesome! Love this!
A lot of smiles in this episode. Awesome car.
I like your father's reaction when he took that camaro on the road. It was priceless.
Great to see you and your dad enjoying these moments. Treasure them.
The look on your dads face when he went rippin through the gears was priceless.. he was like a kid on Christmas lol
I don't think I've ever seen your dad so happy in any of your videos
That’s a beautiful car man congratulations on the purchase!
Thanks bro!
Those hide away headlights have relays that mount under the left fender. Mine has always worked, but I did find the schematic for them. If it's a real ss car it should have a 12 bolt rear end with a link on the right axle tube that goes to the body.
It does have a 12 bolt, maybe it is! 💯
15:48 Purr baby purr. Awesome JR.
Oh man, it makes all the right sounds! Congrats! Your dad saying "hang on boys" had me laughing lol. He knows exactly what he's doing.
Look on Dad's face says it all. Merry Christmas.
Love the new ride and the old ones too. I think you should 3d Print a crazy body for the Corvette for off-roading, I love it. Love the memories you make with your dad. I wish mine was still alive for that too. Also you can't do that in an EV!
I find it sad that other channels have over one million subs and John Ross does not. People should understand this is one of the best channels.
That car is sweet! I love the pedals and cue ball shifter.
When you said you love each car for what it is its so much fun to put together different combinations & ideas together and enjoy the end result's. i have redone a 2nd gen camaro drive train and paint seats. but i always missed the original idea i put together as well. be nice to have a couple cars to do resto mod's on . 😉
Congrats on the new car. Brian knew that you would give it the best home and drive it as it deserves.
Looking forward to seeing you finally working on the '67 again, new one is absolutely stunning.
Great to see your dad feeling like a kid!
Love seeing your dad have so much fun with this!
I know this is a very random comment but I'm a Hot Wheels collector and I just found a '67 Camaro Super Treasure Hunt ...I absolutely love that piece and found this amazing video to see the real thing in action....just beautiful
That 1967 Chevy Camaro looking beautiful and gorgeous.
Your dad was like a kid at Christmas . So awesome.
Wow. That is a gorgeous example of an old muscle car. I'll bet you make Hoovie jealous with that one!
So envious. Such beautiful cars. What's better than a 67 Camaro? TWO 67 Camaro's... time to also work on your original one! Cheers mate.
You have a Better Off Dead vibe going on with the Camaro's
Your Dad “hang on boys”. I’m sure that not the first or last time he says that 😅😅 beautiful car JR now I want one😂
The joy in your Father’s face was priceless
I forgot you had the corvette. In Canada when I was growing up it was the 80s and muscle cars were rotting out, noisy, stinky, rich burning heaps of junk, so I never really grew to appreciate them. It's cool to see the older generation that grew up dreaming of these cars getting to enjoy them.
This is a keep and never sell car! Congrats brother! 🎉
Your Dad came alive so much, miss mine, love the rumble, thanks for sharing
This makes me nostalgic for my old 68 Firebird.. But I have the 68 Cougar to keep the hobby going
WatchJRDAD, the best part of this channel, and to see how happy this car made him was brilliant 😄
I really don’t like the later Camaros. 67 is perfect. Same with the 67 Firebird. Nice car!
Easiest way to tell if you've got a super sport is to look for trim tag you'll either have the letter P which is a SS 350, the K which is a 375 hp 396 or the letter N, which is a 325 hp 396. If it has the letter L it's a Z 28. it will be the bottom line of characters in the right hand corner. You're looking for the very first character. That will tell you what the car was if my memory serves me correct.
Simple hood adjustment to fix the rear of hood sticking up. Tik-Tok-Tak gauge means there’s a both a clock and tachometer in one gauge housing.
Sometimes you are a real estate developer sometimes you are a mechanic sometimes you are a HVAC guy. You are a Jack of all trades. So what do you want to do when you grow up lol. PS I Love That Camaro Merry Christmas.
dude that looks CLEANNNNN -- good work
That’s the way you give someone the proper motivation to start there project
Would be awesome if you new what you’re dad wanted for his build & surprise him with ton of parts
Passed my life around them resto mods. Felt like a natural video to me 😂 also, I like the offroad corvette
