I wish we had more DRO and CTI type game modes for this. It basically turns into a whole new Halo game. It’s just hard finding groups big enough and at the right times to play MP with
Yeah, the "old" days when the mod came out were nice because it was so easy to just jump into a public server and have 30 or 40 people playing in there. Wonder what that would look like now with all the assets we have.
For those who wanna branch out outside of OPTRE there are so many mods and groups for different ways to play Arma: there are those who seriously play milsim, like these guys would do those Delta Force style missions where they would chase the HVT car with little birds and then you shoot the engine and capture the target. There are also those DayZ players who prefer playing the mod over the official game. KOTH, Exile and Wasteland, for those who prefer more Arcady style. Invade and Annex for the Casual milsim, except the 77th JSOC server they take it very seriously. And many more server options for different war eras, and mods that grabs this experience
You can see me in a couple of the ops he showed off but I am far from view and my ODST armour is some what camouflaged also if you looking for cause milsim I recommend the 402nd Bad Company they are pretty relaxed and just want to have fun they also do out of OPTRIE fun ops

Hey Coy, unfortunately I don't have one setup. a lot of the mods I have on the list go through updates at a lot of different times causing compatibility issues with some of them, so I never bothered to throw a list together. But some units and other players on the discord have had some in the past.
i just can't figure out how to get the ODST hud to work properly. when i throw the helmet on and the correct visor it doesnt' show up as the ODST just generic view
Looks fine on my end and I haven't had anyone else report any issues to me currently. But it should still very much be populated with links to various steam mods.
Some of the mods are out of date and no longer supported, or some use the same assets. So if you are using literally everything it probably caused a conflict that led to a crash.
@@Arkados_Black_Templar Saying everything is way to vague. I cannot begin to fathom the concept of doing a video on "everything". What specifically are you having issues with?

The games is a little hard to navigate but it's not bad. Still learning how to play, brand new to pc gaming in general.

Does it require DLC?
Some groups or mods may utilize or require stuff from the DLCs. But at the very least base operation trebuchet and first contact don't.

Yeah I had recently upgraded my PC when I made this, and some of the components were not playing nice with each other. It was frustrating.
