My friend took her Stylo 4 to the T-Mobile store with the black screen problem. They said it couldn't be fixed! So, she got a new iPhone at $15/month for 24 months ($360 total). Wow!!! thank you so much! the tapping and forced action worked and found out the battery was 100% charged! I had it on battery saved mode. i took it off that mode. I used the easer of a pencil because my finger hurt tapping it hard.

I've held both volume buttons and removed the SMS Card and all I could think of. You did it in 5 sedonds - Thank you Greatly. It was the down volumn and power button that worked for me. It happened as soon as I registered with the "No call list". LOL

My LG Stylo 5 got back to normal today after watching this video. I tried doing these methods before when my phone's screen turned black. (Except for the freezer) At that time I was crying so bad like anyone else because of it info I had. So after searching for methods or if there is anyway I can get it fixed when I had the time without feeling to depressed sometimes the outcome isn't what I wanted. I talked to everyone who had phone problems and most of the time they tell me in buying a new phone.
(Right now I'm using a used phone as I'm writing this message)
My LG Stylo 5 turned to a black screen since August 5. Rn it just turned on so after 3 months of crying and feeling depressed I never felt better to have it turn back on to the way it used to be.
When I watched this video for any trick to get it back working and try doing as they say the screen was normal restart.
So I guess the last method is waiting for a long period of time before turning your LG Stylo 5 on. (My phone was dead when trying this so it made sense to get back to the restart screen.) I was dealing with this pain for almost 3 months so I'm sort of glad this gives me hope about my old phone.
Also if anyone questions why my screen turned black here is what I think happened. I got my LG Stylo 5 around August 5 of 2019 and as I mentioned before it turned black screen on August 5 2021. Then I heard a commercial about the LG Stylo 5 saying the phone works for 2 years until the plan. (Something like that) So my guess is that after the 2 year plan was the cause of my screen turning black.

I put the thing in the freezer and set the timer on the microwave, When I took it out,, she started right up!! It currently only have it at 1% but if all indications are right,, she is charging.. Listen up .. if u made it here it's cuz God wanted you to.. now listen up.. get some scotch tape and place it on your power button... Make sure the botton is being pressed down... Charge it and let it sit for 8 hours

I had this happen with my first LG Stylo 3. the freezer worked. , and the phone wasnt even warm when i put it in. odd.?
it also showed 0% battery life. but it had 70% battery life left. odd?
it all started when i hung up messenger video call and plugged in the charger at the same time
the phone then went off and then had a yellowish screen with alot of small print that i could not read.
then the life's good kept popping on and off, then yellow again, then life's good, then dead. for 2hrs.
you seem very knowledgeable. any ideas what to do or not do in the future?
