Amazing. You can see the Gregorian Chant Cantus Firmus passing from one voice to another. Luxurious 5 part counterpoint

I agree, it is a fantastic motet, and Palestrina's motets should be way more famous. His settings of canonical texts are all top-notch and compare very favorably, even to Lasso. I also love the crunchy dissonances in this motet a lot.
