Um, this is for Direct X 11 games not Direct X 12 and Vulkan APIs. SO its not a good comparison.
Does Nvidia ever get performance boosts from driver updates to the same degree?
This is more AMD fixing bad drivers than anything else. NVDIA has always had less driver issues in both gaming and productivity use.

in the record nvidia did do some gaming performance boost on driver for once ...after rdna 1 was release not long ago
thats all i can recall . in my oppinion rdna 2 is very grood already just in my country they are much more expensive than nvidia (sad) so nvidia is my only option because of pricing in my country.
@@ikooiov in actual fact that's not true. There are many videos on youtube benchmarking nvidia cards against old drivers and the diffs are either in favor of new drivers or equal to old drivers. Cases in favor of old drivers fall within margin of error (less than 3%)

Anyone have broken HDR with 22.5.2? I have win11 and 6800xt and Oled C1 tv. Also UA-cam 4k videos stutter alot.

22.5.1 - GPU clock=2580; 22.5.2 - GPU clock=2588 at the same time in the game. And in general - at 22.5.2 frequencies HIGHER than at 22.5.1 !!!

the point of this test is to see if it makes the performance of non-dx11 games worse.
it reminds me of the comparisons of the rx 6400 with pcie 3.0 against a 1050ti, it is obvious that it will go wrong
