STEFANOS FOUNDATION RE-ROOFS HOUSES FOR VICTIMS OF 2023 BLACK CHRISTMAS
Stefanos Foundation has ro-roofed burnt houses for families, victims of Fulani attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State and Kaura Local Government of Kaduna State.
The beneficiaries in Mandung-Mom of Bokkos LGA of Plateau State are victims of the February 2024 attack on the community. Mandung-Mom with about 30 other communities in Bokkos Local Government Area were attacked by Fulani terrorists between December and February 2024. Many lives, houses and properties were lost in the attacks.
One of the beneficiaries in Tsonje 1 is a victim of an attack on the community in February 2022. The beneficiary, who is a widow with 5 children had lost her husband in the aftermath of the attack.
Stefanos Foundation reached out to some of the families, in Mandung-Mom and Tsonje 1 and assisted them in re-roofing their houses. The beneficiaries were profusely grateful as this will enable them return to their homes and livelihoods.

We also call on Government, Partners and well meaning individuals to support this effort. Many families have been rendered homeless in Bokkos and elsewhere in the country and are in desperate need of shelter. You can assist and let us put roofs over their homes.
