Nothing could take your title as the greatest gpu technician that's ever lived, Tony. North ridge fix has nothing on you man. Except an online store full of cheap crap they want to sell us.
North ridge was only about time, he do only short circuit, but repair are not only short, when a card need reballing he put a no fix on it and he charge for that no fix....
@@northwestrepair No no 'Northbridge' like on my FX 6300+. It's an easy mistake to make as that's the memory controller. I was more of a southbridge guy as I loved too many HDDs.
Had a stupid morning, then i started your video and happiness and a good laugh set in. Thats why im a subscriber and have handed out several likes to you. Please dont ever change your way of making videos. :)
Big Boss isn't happy you spent so much time working on this card, when it was quite obviously a "no fix," collect diag fee. Seriously, though, thanks for taking us along.
big fan of your videos love seeing someone so good at what they do and i loved the usage of the 🐱👍 throughout the video hope you keep up the great work!
You are really the Greatest Technician That Ever lived... Ah no sorry my mistake that is someone else 😂 you are the Greatest GPU Repair Technician Ever Lived. Apart from my joke I enjoy a lot your videos are very interesting and I love your jokes 👍
Hello 🤝Tony, great as usual, congratulations👏👏👏 on the repair, knowledge and satisfied customers. I would like to know what you made the suction device for lifting the GPU and VRAM from the boards? Have nice day Tony👋👋👋👋
Oh man 4090s sure make it on this channel a lot, considering how many fewer of those cards there are in the wild. As long as mine never ends up on your channel.😅
In a case of crashing like this one, does it require always to reball the memory chips closer to the pci slot? And if the chips have broken solder joints, wouldn't it appear on the mods test you did earlier? I'm really curious because i have one with the same fault
Great work as always! I`m looking for a RTX 4080 Super, but from which manufacturer? Who has the most reliable and safe card that can run for many years?
bro it's so easy to walk into any store and ask for their left over packing foam etc if you have to send a card and don't have to original box+foam, crazy.
In the unfortunate event that I need to send my gpu somewhere, i have the original box with foam set aside. I don't have the anti-static bag so I should probably order one of those though.
Yeah another Chinese fake from Amazon eBay for 15 bucks a jar 😊. Original one melts clear and stays clear. It also evaporates a lot and smells kinda bad. This one turns cloudy when cools and does not smell much. Other differences is how it cools. Fake becomes rock hard even on a hot surface so wiping it away asap is a must where as real one can be wiped easily with no rush.
@ I’m very still have half a tub left. It smells terrible. Lol. Stiri tf is okay for general-purpose, but i hate it for smd work. Evaporates so fast . Smells great! Least the is what i have found. I havent tried the high temp version yet
Good day I have a question for you I have a gtx 1650 ventus graphics card but the graphics card gives an image but gives pink lines I did a vrem test I found the faulty vrem and installed the new vrem but nothing changed it gives the same error can you please help me
I feel like I wasn't just a part, but the major part in fixing that. That's apparently how it works, you do the work, and some mid-level manager swoops in and takes the credit.
How's that you never get popcorning on your boards, and/or GPU PCB without baking them first to get rid of any moistures? There is a guy on YT who is trying hard to make a PS3 frankenstein mod, but every time he is not doing the 24h baking, he gets popconrning of the motherboard.
Hmm mine gigabyte 4090 gaming oc ( @ 2865mhz, @ 22500mhz ) have during heavy gaming about 10degree higher temps compare with this msi, should i be worried ??
It is crazy to see so many people send their very expensive gpu by post and don't take care about the packaging. I really don't get that. How can you be so careless? My computer components always look brandnew after years of use and i always keep the original box it came with. But i guess people that have to much money don't care about it?
Dudes got the theme music figured out, *thumbs up cat*
Timelapse always appreciated. Hammer star of the show there.
I prefer raw video of him fixing GPUs
Thx for not cutting the re-balling footage...damn thats satisfying to watch!
He keeps it in the vast majority of videos it's awesome to watch in time-lapse
Nothing could take your title as the greatest gpu technician that's ever lived, Tony. North ridge fix has nothing on you man. Except an online store full of cheap crap they want to sell us.
Northridge? Never heard of them 😅
Fr! Lol. Just someone who thinks they can fix gpus.

You have a silliness that makes your videos entertaining
Nice edit work! I love that song you use in some of your videos and this one and the quality of your videography!
Thank you!

For real. His videos always put me in a better place.
Stay safe during this crazy weather, Tony! Also, I really like that GPU :)
spend 2k on a GPU cant be bothered to spend a couple bucks to package it nicely
The problem was not the package but the packaging.
yeah, it's like watercooling a 4k $ pc with only deionized water. Trust me, there is stupidity. Some people regret spending $20 on it.
Better than when it came out of production.. Makes me wanna cry. That's true art 😭
This is the first electronics repair video I want to watch a second time. 👍
I just had a cup of warm instant noodles while watching you repair this gorgeous GPU. It felt really nice.
Love your vids.
started watching these video for the repairs, staying for the memes ngl! keep it up!
No wonder you're the best GPU repair Guy tony. Man you inspire me to do some soldering and i fix my LED lights 🤣😂
another very good job from NorthSouthEastWest around the galaxy GPU, CPU, MMU, HNW repair !
your music selection is superb, love your videos, informative, fun and melodic. you have a wicked sense of humour :)
I really love your Videos always nice to watch and the music is fire to! Keep the work up.

I consider this man to be a genius.

Awesome repair … loved the combination of micro soldering and panel beating with a hammer … I don’t think I’ve seen that on any other channel 😀👍
the greatest the greatest gpu repair technician reputation repairer reputation once again deserved
watching this videos makes you wanna buy a broken gpu and make this man work his magic.
Just remember, they are actually just skills. Magic is what is needed for the cards with no core or memory. He can't fix that.
"Did you fix my 4090", "Oh yeah, got my trusty hammer out and fixed it no worries".
You are really the Greatest Technician That Ever lived... Ah no sorry my mistake that is someone else 😂 you are the Greatest GPU Repair Technician Ever Lived.

Best reball/soldering videos hands down!
"The Greatest Technician that ever lived"
Oh my god, your content is a lifesaver for humanity 1:27 . I love you, my brother.
Fixed 4090 under 7 min 😁 Good Job !!!
Amazing reballing skills, I'm having a go at reballing a few chips to try and learn. Solder paste or solder balls?
Tony the 🐐 does it again!
cool music + core reballing are what we need.
Gotta say that was some excellent ball handling. 👍
what i like about your videos... they are NOT infomercials like northridge repair :)
Hello 🤝Tony, great as usual, congratulations👏👏👏 on the repair, knowledge and satisfied customers. I would like to know what you made the suction device for lifting the GPU and VRAM from the boards? Have nice day Tony👋👋👋👋
Im waiting for the 5000 Cards to launch, to see what crap the gpu makers have come up with now and get them fixed here on this chanel. Great Video!
So calming to watch and listen thanks
Love the Salem Techsperts reference!

Greatest Repairman of all Time....🤣👍👍👍

The predatory color-changing power socket is wild.
i would love to be as skilled as you are at fixing the gpu
Good choice on the song, reminds me of the time I watched saving private Ryan
Really love these videos...

😂😂😂 Gotta Love your Content!! Balls! 🏀
there needs to be more northwestrepairs out there. Might as well get in touch with the government to make the arrangements and start cloning.
There was ptm7950 for shure...
Always nice music whe reball...
You are the GPU savior
That's wondering how solder pads on board didn't break by the impact that bent that heatsink like that . Thumbs up for that Msi
You're awesome🙂👍
When my EVGA 3090 starts to fail, I am going to send it to you!
Oh one of my fav songs again. :D
cool vid, dig the tunes.
absolute legend
Nice as always
Awesome video
I learned that 90% of the time re-ball worked every time :D
Great work as always! I`m looking for a RTX 4080 Super, but from which manufacturer? Who has the most reliable and safe card that can run for many years?
swear watching him reball chips eases my adhd no clue why.. he is truly a gpu repair god

1:18 - (During that R.I.P. NWR meme) I couldn't help but notice the camera monitor- is that slender man coming up to your house?!
The Fur always gets ya
what happened to the long vídeos with yapping? I love them
Nice fix.
What's the name of the music playin during reballin and after?
my cat has requested a reball
My 4060 cuts off when I'm playing ffxvi on ultra could this be the problem?
"You didn't listen, anything under 4090 is garbage!" #NWR
What if you lower the power slider in aferburner? Try 90% see if it crashes.

Hey i know this not related to the video but what do you think about ptm 7950 on a phone?
Honest question, how did you instantly rule out VRM as a potential crash cause, like not all phases being active and not able to supply full amps?
It's a 4090, not a 4060... If u know what I'm mean. 😏😏😏
@devilzuser0050 nice try, now incorporate the "not all phases active" part which basically means trying to run a 4090 with a 4060 VRM and try again
this GPU wizard got some balls
Coolio as always z. Now fake kimbo?? I also use the 218. How can you tell

it's like in tennis: new balls please, 40-love game, set, match
Let's do a crappy job shipping an expensive GPU because if it gets damaged, northwestrepair will fix it.
I feel like I wasn't just a part, but the major part in fixing that. That's apparently how it works, you do the work, and some mid-level manager swoops in and takes the credit.
We did good work.
Yes, you make me laught at the end.
The GPU Jedi!
