WOW, this maple bowl is just beautiful. On behalf of my wife and I, thank you so much for trying our products and give us a thumbs up, we truly appreciate that, and a big thank you to Doug of Pohlbarn Productions for sharing his paste with you!! We did not know he did that! Thank you sir for your service also!!.
@@turntbyhi-lo3516 NO Sir, we spent 3 months of trial and error, I could package it and sell it as a micro fine crystelline paste but to be honest, it wouldnt do much and we would just be taking your money. We made pastes from 20 thousand grit clear up to 85K and it was super fine, non of them worked as well as just using our abrasive paste and polish.. ANd thank you for using our pastes!!
I am head over heels in love with this bowl!! The color of the wood and the way the wood grain reacts to the light is absolutely stunning!! I hope you make many more projects with this type of wood in the future!

That is a beautiful wood. Natural pearlescent in wood. Yes. An unpaid opinion holds integrity.
MR.Humphrey this wood is beautiful and the bowl turned into magic .The flip flop of the wood grain is beautiful. Its amazing how nature works in mysterious ways and the shine you put on the bowl beautiful.Thank for another awesome video.❤🤗👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Rod....I totally agree with you, the figure in the timber is amazing....choosing a simple unfussy shape was a good choice...lovely finish...great video...All the best.....Andy
What do I think? I think you've once again created a work of art. You did what was necessary to bring out the beauty of this magnificent piece of wood, and you knew how far to go.
I think you did a fantastic choice in doing what you did with this piece. The grain just "POPS" with the paste and wax. The slightest movement in the light and its beauty slides for you. Three thumbs up from this grunt. So simple yet so elegant in form.
Your bowl is top notch. Beautiful. But the wood itself wins the prize. Unbelievable figure. One of the most beautiful pieces of maple I have ever seen. You should be so pleased.
I don’t typically comment on videos but I feel compelled to let you know that I absolutely love this piece. You knocked it out of the park with this one. Thank you for sharing it. WOW!
Truly a BEAUTIFUL piece of art! This Seabee veteran loves watching your videos. They really help to calm my nerves after I get riled up. I can't wait to get a small shop of my own set up to see if that helps any further. Bravo Zulu Marine!
What an extraordinary bowl. Who would have thought that a piece of wood could have turned out to be such a beauty. Only your special eye could have seen that. Thank you.
I love it when you make things with the flame maple. The wood is amazing, I love all of the movement and everything you make with it makes it even better.
I love the simplicity and quietness of the design. The maple itself is the show, and wow what a show. I was so impressed that I bought some of the Ack polish and wax. I am turning some cheese knife handles out of heavily figured maple. The Ack's did more than I could believe to highlight the striping. So thank you for the channel and the Ack tip.
SPECTACULAR AWESOME Thanking God for his beautiful creations (trees) and for you finding it and making that piece of wood a masterpiece. May God continue to bless your hands in good things.
You absolutely did justice to this amazing piece of wood. Sometimes simplicity is all that’s needed. Also, as a fellow wood turner, there is nothing more satisfying than to see streamers of shavings coming off of a sharp bowl gouge. Lovely work mate.
You definitely made the right choice Rod, that grain is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed meeting you last week and am looking forward to our next cup of coffee. Semper Fi my friend. Congratulations on the 2.6 million views on your pumpkin carving!

WOW Rod! I concur! What a gorgeoumus piece of wood! And your treatment of it comes as close to divine inspiration as I have ever seen. That piece was worth every penny.
Love how the wood grain shimmers the way it does. It's quite unexpected for me. Knew some woods acted that way, but never figued there'd ever be wood with that much shimmer. It's a beautiful bowl. Also, noticed you're closing in on 100,000 subscribers. Congrats.
I have recently come upon alot of curly maple like this. I have 2 bowls roughed out. I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery but looking forward to finishing up these pieces. Amazing piece you have.
