Good Luck on your journey
Low Lands is criminally underrated. The collaboration and brinkmanship are brilliantly implemented.
Well I stumbled onto this and now subsided 249. You will go far. What fun and thanks. 😊
Thank you!
I agree with you, I played Wolves with my wife, we found it very entertaining and fun. I'll get Atiwa and Age of Civilication out of your recommendation. Great video! Thanks.
Hope you enjoy them!
It's always great to find a new content creator! Looki g forward to look through your vids.
Love some of the games on this list. Tinners' Trail is a favorite of mine! Looki g forward to checking out some of the other titles. Gotta look through my list and see what my underrated games are!
Atiwa is on my shelf of shame, really want to get it to the table. I love playing Hallertau and Oranienburger Kanal solo; I'm glad to hear you enjoy its solo mode.
I keep thinking of selling Rolling Realms but keep coming back to it - it's a great solo game too. First time I've stumbled across your channel btw and I enjoyed the video!
Looking at Low Lands brings to mind Pioneer Days. In it, there are four catastrophes that keep reoccuring, but each player is working against the others by slowing down one catastrophe, while speeding up another (to their advantage, of course.) It's like stockholders who can manipulate the markets and buy and sell accordingly. The only negative, IMO, is the cartoon-y artwork. It's a serious game that looks silly.
Try the JKLM version of Tinners' Trail, I honestly think that it is better without the cards and with the old scoring system! The new version is a strong 8, but I rate the old one a 9.
You may have a solid group of gamers but if you are looking for another online addition I would gladly play any of the first 7 on your list. Yes, I have not finished your video and Yes, I have never played any of them but by your comparison to other games which I do recognize name and comparing the comparable mechanics, I'm wondering why I have not played them. Gonna watch the rest now. Seriously, serious offer. I have a crazy schedule also but when gaming, it's game time.
BTW... My encounter with your video was more engaging by your reasoning behind this video "thumbnail title" than most of my BG favs that do not understand how to say why they like the game without talking about a few aspects which (I will not mention) have nothing to do with the game itself or their reasoning. Your accuracy on your proclaimed topic was sound, and the manner (using the same methods we all do to find, use, play a game) was comforting and morebetter (it's a real word), welcoming than showcasers using all the advertised bests; originality wins. Because I'm an A'hole I will say that your clarity can use some improvement on how you want to direct your energy. For me, I like criticism to better myself but without a large salt shaker. Best you know... I love board games and 'maybe' 3 humans. How many gaming mechanics can you find in my message(s)?
