The opening melody also is very similar to Halfman's Song. As far as I've noticed MoS always makes songs that are about the same story connected in some way.
@@darthkenobi6726 my great grievance against him is the fact that he knelt to Daenerys without need for It. She had already allied with him against the others. Gods above I can't stop listen to this song. It helps that I kind of relate to John Snow's character, and this songs represents him so well I kind see my self in some of the verses. You are a true blessing upon the music industry Gavin. All the love!
Jon is basically a man who started off as a mere bastard, someone who brought shame to House Stark and no one cared of, to have a life so much involved in prophecy by being The Prince that was Promised, the true son of both Stark and Targaryen bloodlines, the King of the North and the true heir of the Iron Throne. It would make more sense to say that they would only throw away their scabbard if they had to. If it's getting in the way a soldier wouldn't risk that distraction. They wouldn't intentionally throw away the scabbard unless absolutely necessary.

I love the captions, the compilation shows his struggle and emotions in a linear way of what he's been through. Finally something about Jon, Heil King in the North!
Season 7 has really made me appreciate Jon Snow more. Originally I thought he was an honor bound fool, but he's really just doing his best to do the right thing, lead his people, and save as many as he can. So, now I say proudly, "long live the King in the North!"

This is one of my favorite songs, ever. Not just Game of Thrones songs, just all songs. I never get tired of hearing it. It just came up on my playlist which, of course, means I'm going to listen to it 5 times in a row. I wasn't sure if I had left a comment before (and apparently I hadn't, so it's long overdue) and I just wanted to say how awesome it is.
The song is great Jon Snow is a badass character and a little fun fact Kit Harington is also the actor who plays Admiral Kotch in Call of Duty infinite warfare
As a hunter and outdoors man I have heard the bears roar, the stags cry, the coyotes Yelp, and the cougars purr; but what I respect and admire more then anything is the howl of the wolf. Never was there a more majestic, Nobel, and honored beast.
I don't even watch the show, though I do follow some of the story closely thanks to many recap videos. And even then I feel that the songs you made convey and embody the stories and characters so well. For some reason, this one made me very emotional. I think it's how I feel the song is so "humble" in a way, which seems to fit Jon's character well, just like how Mother of Flame is much more "prideful," which also fits Daenerys, considering all the friggin' titles she has and how much she clings on her birthright. Anyway, I think this is my favorite GoT song you made so far, even though I really love them all.
I do not know much English, but I can not help but say how much this is masterpiece! Absolutely everything in this song (and in other songs too) is perfect. I just want to say thank you to Gavin, for what he does.

Screw the Iron Throne! I follow the King in the North!
Amazing, I have no words, I'm thankful I've found your music and all these amazing songs ❤
Haha that is a fun fact
Nice! Very well done and put with the video. Gonna miss this show.
this track always helps me to collect my thoughts
Не могу перестать напевать это : Blood on the snow
Blood on the ashes
I'm not ashamed of what i am...
Most epic and beautiful song about GoT, Gav!
Every song just continues to amaze me, and this is a perfect tribute to the rightful King of the North!
This song convinced me to actually sit down and watch the show. Beautiful!
Will you make a song about Jaime Lannister ? the "bad guy" looking for redemption, he's just so well write.
Keep going, your songs are really good :)

Only Us
I remember showing this song to my music class in 5th grade
I'm currently at altitude about 3500 m above the sea level, and I'm watching this masterpiece. Wouldn't change a thing. Congratulations.
Oh sh~! Is fucking awesome!
Amazing job, Mr. Dunne. You are a best.
Thank you :)
I do not know much English, but I can not help but say how much this is masterpiece! Absolutely everything in this song (and in other songs too) is perfect. I just want to say thank you to Gavin, for what he does.
Thank you :)
I'm already breaking the replay button.
THE KING IN THE NORTH!!
