- This week the village threw a huge wine party and parade to celebrate harvest here in Puglia, Italy. We joined in the fun, practiced our bread baking skills and had a wine tasting in the garden with some of our favorite wines from the region ~
Enjoy
Ebonie and Martin
Excellent as always, thanks for the glimpse into the culture of Puglia.
I come from Puglia, but I'm living in Switzerland. My music, my people, my house... I miss all of this so much :(
Another dreamy vid and a great lesson from Martin.
Thank you 😊
The Ciabatta looked so good as did all the snacks. Martin is so knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the video. Thank you. 🌷
Most welcome 🤗
Beautiful video from beginning to end
I love listening Martin talking about wine. A perfect sommelier 🥰
Italia❤

Bell notification 🔔🐄😂
You are such a lovely couple. You get along so well and enjoy each others company. I love the dogs too!
Thank you 😊 that’s very kind of you to say so
I never knew how much I needed a wine doctor until now!
😂 seriously! Just what we all need these days !
Love the ‘ two many wine sample dance’ we are just back from the Barossa Valley in SA AUSTRALIA and may have done a little dance myself 🥰
😂 it’s an unspoken universal law that one must always do the “too many wine samples dance” should the situation arise
I really needed this calm, relaxing break this evening. Thank you so much, I feel as though I was there. I love the way you always keep the dialogue to a minimum.
You are so welcome 🤗
Very lovely video !! btw chicchetti is pronounced with hard "c", ciketti :)
sampling wine and grinning like a Cheshire Cat, awesome ☺️
Me encantó seus videos, parabens, pediría um favor, se poderiam colocar Legenda.Desejo muito sucesso.
Just discover your channel and absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing fragment of your family with us. Puglia is always my dream place to live. Your simplicity of life balms my heart and the food and wine appreciation is just beyond dream. Enjoy!
I just stumbled upon your channel and I love it! I recently moved to Florence from busy Brussels and I'm trying to settle into a more slow, mindful life. Could you please share some of your favorite wines to try? Grazie mille! :)
Snacks are important when wine tasting...softens the effect of the 16%. Loved this video. So much culture and learned for the first time that a grape vine could produce two harvests. Also quite entertaining to learn the "wine tasting dance"! 😁
Haha the wine tasting dance is an essential part of the process 😂 As are the snacks when you’ve got 16% and several takes! Thanks for tuning in
Im just so love with this special listener (4 leg furry 15.15 )superb audience!!!!Inowdays people have hard time listening, and harder to understanding. If we can focus like this amazing friend ,Im thinking we will be having much less problems.thank you sharing !always interesting content.
Haha yes he’s always a very intent little chap! He loves to hear what you have to say 😂 So sweet! We should all be a little more like little Aldo 🌹
@@Maisondebasethis was such a natural video, & little Aldo so adoring u both while the other 2 so relaxed. We have always loved the wines u have recommended we try so very much looking fwd to enjoying some italian wines with you soon. &of course your incredible home made food. 😊
loved this wine tasting video, your beautiful backyard as a backdrop, just lovely
Thank you 😊 glad you enjoyed it !
Most interesting wine segment regardless of bells. I checked some of the prices of the Fatalone Primitivo here in the UK and your sample (Gioia del Colle) is quite expensive (£20+) but may well be, if I take your advice, worth it. No mention of the second harvest wine you showed ... Thank you for the introduction. Primitivo is one of my favourite grapes so to be given extra information is most helpful.
Bravo you two...actually you 5!!!! You came into our life about 3 weeks ago & we so enjoy! My husband & i are both artists living in Venice Florida and your lifestyle is Delicious! We don't know your names yet but will keep on following you, you both are very calming in this crazy world we live in, Thank YOU! Sea you next time! We are Inspired to learning wines Thanks to YOU!
La vendemmia is great fun no matter in what country. I am Italian decent from Chieti in Abruzzo. Many of the traditions around wine making and the grape harvest were followed by my family later by me. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
Couldn’t agree more! One of the best times of year! Happy you are continuing to hold the traditions 😊
I’m having major bread and wine envy! Thanks
🥖🍷❤️
Loved you guys diving into the wine 🍷 tasting and taking us along. Look forward to more videos like this❤
Thank you 😊
Jag ser fram emot varje video, man kan förnimma värme lukter smaker så vackert
Grazie Mille! 🌹
love this! Loved the bread baking and appetizers made and appreciate Martin's wine expertise. Not too many people know about orange wine. Lot's of health benefits. Would you mind posting the names of the bottles you shared with us. I would love to try and find it here in the U.S. Thank you. Everything is so beautiful and elegant.
Yes, I am definitely all in to learn more and everything about Italian wine 🍷!
Martin is the wine man! I’m slowly convincing him into sharing more with you all 😊
@@Maisondebasethat would be so wonderful! I have learned so much about wine from this episode already. I am totally new to tnis, but (once again) I would love to learn as much as possible about everything Italian wine. I will keep my fingers crossed for Martin to share his knowledge with all of us soon . So far he has been fantastic! Cheers🍷🍷 to that and to Martin!
Cool tasty video! I wish I was there) Thank you!
Thank you 😊
Martin is very good looking, but especially when he smiles like today.
He’s the most handsome of them all! Especially when he’s smiling ☺️
You’re such an interesting couple, if I met you both individually I’d never imagine you both as couple, but here you are, it’s quite intriguing.
We are very different people, Im (Ebonie) much more outgoing and silly personality, Martin is definitely more of a quiet thinker. Our two different types of personalities work well together as we’ve learnt a lot from each other being so different. Martin has gotten more outgoing because of my friendly nature and Iv become more relaxed because of his calm personality. When we met we never thought we’d end up together but here we are married now happily for 7 years 🤷🏽♀️
If you ever visit Australia, I'd really be interested in Aussie wine vlog from you guys. Perfect teaching for me, highly accessible.
Im (Ebonie) actually from Australia so we know a lot of the good wines from there too :) Very hard for us to source here and expensive but if we go closer to a bigger city sometime soon we might grab some and talk about those also! Loads of excellent producers there. Thanks for tuning in ☺️
Pure and authentic festival! Very Enjoyable!
Great video with so much variety.....your marinated grilled vegetable crostinis looked d-e-v-i-n-e!! Its nice to see the farmers enjoying themselves for a change! I quite liked the music LOL!! And thank you for that very informative wine chat, enjoyed it alot and also watching your little pooches eyeing you guys!! So adorable.
Love that festive music and totally agree so nice to see the farmers and their families and friends gathering to celebrate. I believe it was a good season for wine here so hopefully try some of the harvest next year 😊 glad you enjoyed it
Which village is the parade in? Incidentally, I LOVE the bells lol :) Given the hot, sunny climate it would be interesting to see some Apulian vineyard managers try some form of shading the vines to lower the abv in the final wine
Спасибо за красивое видео. Привет собачкам .
🐶🐶🐶
I vostri video sono bellissimi!
Grazie 😊
Wish I could have been with you tasting the wine and cuddling the dogs. Your volume was very low, so I had to turn it up to understand you.
So sorry we forgot to add our microphone again!!! Next time I promise to get it louder! Thanks for watching 😊
What makes chiabata different? Is there some ingredient not used in regular bread?
I love fresh baked bread. I have not bought packaged factory made bread in years.
It’s a very high hydration bread and you start with a poolish so it doesn’t have any yeasty flavors it’s very good :) we are the same we always bake our own, I love trying new types ☺️
Oh what a lovely video this was! ❤ In fact, we find all your videos unwinding and so relaxing to watch, but this episode in particular was especially wonderful! .... the bread baking, the grilled vegetable crostini which looked so delicious, the trip to your village to see the parade, followed by the very interesting wine tasting and snacks in your beautiful garden with your gorgeous doggies! ....all so very enjoyable. Thank you ❤ p.s. Where was the parade please?....was it actually in Oria or a village nearby?
Really glad you enjoyed it! Yes the parade went all through the town of Oria :)
Thanks for getting back to me - Oria looks lovely @@Maisondebase
I love wine from Puglia. Could you please give us the names of the producers you mentioned.
The first one is called Fatalone and second one is L’archetipo 🙂
@@Maisondebase that's great. Thank you.😊
What was the name of the producer of the 2nd Primitivo wine, the rose-colored early harvest? This looks and sounds like something I really would like to try. I love your content and the way it showcases the area and the people.
Thank you! Here is the link to their website and the wine! It’s such a great producer! www.fatalone.it/en/puglia-igt-primitivo-teres-bio/
Are you planning on selling your Ceramics online could you tell us more about it thank you so much I really enjoy your videos😊
Hi! We sometimes post things for sale on our instagram @studiomdb actually will be doing a big sale over there in the next few weeks :)
❤🌻🇪🇸
Love your channel, from Australia ☀️ Is your larger golden dog a cocker spaniel? I'm looking to adopt a dog right now.
Thank you 😊 yes she’s a cocker spaniel we adopted her in France! Love her so much ❤️
@@Maisondebase She's beautiful, as are all 3 of your dogs 🐕 Thank you 🥰
… a wise person once said to me : “everyday life, thats life”
Älskar stoltheten de har för sina råvaror….vindoctor😂
Where is this beautiful dress from?
Gosh I honestly cannot remember iv had it for soooo long….I think I may have gotten it in a small shop in Vernazza in Italy. There are so many cute little dress shops there that sell handmade things for very reasonable prices….I think I got it there 🤔
I can barely hear you when you speak, the sound is too quiet....
… lovely content today, great original. Try to see if you can afford a microfone on the table closer to you , Martin was wery hard to hear and thats a pity.
You definetely are on the rught track. 🎉
Thank you! We do have one actually but stupidly we forgot to use it as we just got it! Next time. Thanks for the feedback 😌
I have a hard time hearing too.
Your bread looks delicious, brava👏👏
Grazie!
