I am an independent researcher who has studied "A Christmas Carol" for the past 14 years, In my opinion, it was written originally by an American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier, who intended it as a spiritualist redemption story where the supernatural elements reflected authentic esoteric teachings. Charles Dickens hurriedly commercialized it in the fall of 1843, reworking it into a ghost story.

Love this show…but personally I think Scrooge needs to be played by an older actor. He should look like he’s at death’s door. This guy is a good actor but he looks like he’s in his mid-40s…more like young Scrooge than old Scrooge
