Yes… I was laughing but somewhat under control until that point, and then that followed by Tiny Tim being knocked back down into the sewer… I had to roll the video back because I couldn’t hear anything over my own laughter.

What I love about this sketch is the twist. I know that sounds basic, but there have been SO many takes on A Christmas Carol, that when you see it, your mind immediately goes “Okay, what do YOU have to say about this” and boy, did they have a new take 😂😂😂😂
Have not watched SNL in over a decade because of the politics. But when I heard Martin and Martin were co-hosting. I tuned in. Pleasantly Surprised. They know they are losing viewership because of the politics and really un-funny new cast. SNL was funny up to the 90's and maybe a few episodes in the 20's. I miss Phill Hartman. RIP.

I haven't really watched any comedy or late night type show cause it all seems to be about politics, but I discovered Martin short and Steve martin via only murders in the building and can't get enough of them. I've been binging their stuff, it's hilarious. I don't really hear anything political from them, but even when they do that it's funny unlike a lot of comedians who just basically regurgitate what other hosts or comics have said or it's just not funny at all.

Youre also just an old boomer probably, every new cast is unfunny until they get sometime to live with each other. The rose colored glasses you old people use to look back on what you loved is hilarious.

I've been watching SNL since the beginning and I have to say this is one of the funniest segments I've ever seen. So amazingly staged, acted and written. And it proves that those two comedy veterans still have what it takes. Great job all!!!

Ok Molly only had like two lines and they were my fav part bc omg the delivery. I really hope people see how talented they are bc omg they need to stay on cast for years. Any sketch they're in is always so good, can't wait to see them get more sketches.
The first 1:20 is worth watching for Martin Short. It made me wish they would do a sincere, not gross, but funny Christmas Carol remake (Steve Martin could do all the ghosts, plus Marley!)
Gallows humor that increases exponentially is delightful stuff. They just kept topping themselves here until Scrooge shut the windows. So funny. And this filmed sketch clearly required much effort and time-- the sets, lighting, costumes ... very good.

😂 This had me laughing so hard I think because of the direction they took it. Dark humor for sure. It’s the absurdity of this that makes it humorous. To take something as benign as that scene and make it chaotic and over the top. It’s like taking an old B rated horror movie, which in itself is funny because of its absurdity and cheap special effects, and juxtaposing it with humor. Steve Martin and Martin Short’s one liners, comedic timing and overall wittiness added to this a lot.
