sounds great! (also, i LOVE the ableton theme!) i think what sounds off to me, is the melody. when i write melodies, i usualy structure it with an ABAC kinda feel, because it comes embedded with a natural sense of repetition, but the outcome changes. also, i would try humming a melody to see if it feels natural to hum, or play it on a midi keyboard/instrument/typing keyboard etc, to see if it feels right to play. another big thing to look out for, is that the furthest leap that is recomended for writing melodies, is usually a major 3rd, so any notes within that range will feel the most natural. making use of motifs can really help make a melody feel memorable, as well! i think personally (and you might hate me for this) but pay attention to a lot of Toby Fox's melodies, and how they move. he uses ABAC a lot, and overall really knows how to write good and memorable melodies, but in a unique way, where you can kind of see the anatomy of the melody itself! i really love what you have so far!
thank you for the meaningful comment!! I cant tell you how much I appreciate it. I absolutely don't hate you for using Toby Fox as an example, his music is some love my favourite ever made for video games. thanks for the other tips, too!
hey this is awesome !! doesnt feel off to me but i also have a bunch of ideas in the vault that i probably wont finish so i get it. keep up the great work !!!
That frustrating moment when you fall asleep in class and you start dreaming but then get jolted awake because sleeping in class feels weird and you forget what you were dreaming about (Idk if anyone can actually relate)
I sorta see what the other commenters are saying, there maybe could also be a little more filler so there's not quite as much silence, if that makes sense? Idk, I really like it though. Soothing c:
yeah, it's called Autumnal. I was trying to find it in livethemes.co (where I got it) but it seems to have been removed :( but I uploaded the theme file, you can download it here: drive.google.com/file/d/1-SyuqjNQd3xcqZl8VQJPqBYO4oBw7xa3/view?usp=sharing

bad take, i like the spacing of the melody here it gives it room to breathe, not everything has to be maximalist
hey i love your ableton theme and the music of course do you know what your theme is.

Nah its finished
I think what sounds off is the melody kinda sounds too flat or something. Also some of the notes don’t hit right. Other than that it sounds great bro
I agree
