    WOW! What a fun presentation...( great energy!!) always try to soak up all the useful info you impart! That AnueNue UT3K is a stunner...altho I liked the dark overlay on the headstock of the UT1K...the projection on the L.Luthier and the Singer was great...of course the Kanile'a ukes never disappoint....always appreciate the work that goes into these vids! cheers! (Well, wups! On second look the
    dark headstock IS on the UT3K....) 🙃 👍

    Nice demo’s Alex, love the fact you criticise your playing instruments upside down😂. Your upside down playing is shed loads better than I can do the right way up🙃 Have a great week. Flight and L Luthier sounded great to me🎉.

    Some beauties there Alex, Thanks. Love the "antiqued" tuners on the L Luthier. 😍

    The songbirds are so cute !!
    Almost imagining the instrument to be more chirpy !

    This video it seems was made just for me! 🤪. After my recent purchase of the Manako Kanile’a, at SUS, I want a koa uke to complete my collection, or at least until I can convince my other half that having more than 5 ukes is not a problem. I can stop any time, really. In any event, the A 10 by Flight is a beauty, and sounds great too…. Honestly they all did. Decisions decisions… Oh and Alex on my best day I can’t hold a candle to your upside down playing. Thanks for leaving that in. 😎😊

    Lovely instruments all. And Alex your playing is inspirational! Even more so that it's upside down. Cheers!

    The flight actually surprised me. I never give the brand much credit in my mind, but when I actually listen to them they are lovely.
    Thanks for the reminder to keep an open mind!

      I haven't got a demo for it. It's a song you can find on steaming services searching
      Fearne - Sea of bills
      I released it 10 years ago next month 😅

    Thanks very much for the explanation of the difference between the two Anuenue models. Are they both braced the same way?

    Always a great job Alex. Do you have a favorite nut width? Or does it just not really matter if you put in the practice? Thanks and keep up with the great content.

    • @SouthernUkuleleStore
      @SouthernUkuleleStore  Рік тому

      Personally I don't think the nut width makes a difference to my playing. I love how Kanile'a and Flight ukes with 38mm nut widths feel but I've also bonded with Big Island and Sumi ukuleles in the past that had 35mm nut widths.
      I think I probably prefer the wider nut if I had a choice but I wouldn't let it define my own instrument choices. What about you?

    Can I ask what is the difference in sound between a pineapple and regular type uke body?

    Thanking you Sir........The AnueNue to me, is just ahead of the rest. By the way, I love my Kiwaya but I could be just being bias here, but I think Kiwaya sounds much nicer in Mahogany. Thankyou Alex. Oh, no Kamaka?

    I just realized, that you said „Let’s give the ANN UT3K a play“ but what followed was the UT1K 😉

      @@SouthernUkuleleStore No. No one can 😄
      And it’s not terrible. Just wanted to compare Singer and UT3K out of curiosity.
      Thank you for your great videos 🧡
      Watching nearly everyone of them.

      @TeriZipf Рік тому

      Please don’t be mortified, but I watched the video to see the 1T/3T comparison. I hadn’t noticed most of the physical ones you pointed out, so that was useful. Do they both have the Mt. Fuji bracing? If not, how do you think that affects that sound?

  • @danielaschade4051
    @danielaschade4051 Рік тому

    Doesn’t have the aNueNue UT1K a different bracing than the UT3K? ☺️

    • @SouthernUkuleleStore
      @SouthernUkuleleStore  Рік тому

      Quite possibly. Not something that is evident by looking in the soundhole

    For your sample of the aNueNue UT3K, you just play the UT1K again, . . . .

      Yeh someone else pointed that out, sorry. Il put a sample of it up this week.

    I'm rather taken by the Singer. No sign of the sliced apple...
