You had to say that dreaded sentence: I’ll never have to buy another sensor socket again. Watch next year some engineer is going to change the design of a common sensor so you’ll have to buy more sockets 😂
i was gonna say the same thing or in 10 years the set becomes obsolete its only got a lifetime guarantee till they get bought our or go out of business look at what happenend to craftsman tools warrenty
Most people don’t realize that HF is a tool distributor. They rebrand. Getting the Pittsburgh warranty is worth it. It’s the same reason buying a Matco version of an Amazon tool can be worth it for warranty as long as your dealer is worth their salt.
Matco used to sell an o2 socket that attached to your air hammer with an atachment like a fan clutch tool.I can't find it anymore. Just a fyi, I still have mine it works awesome.
@boosted2.4_sky I found some on ebay from another country. This one in particular hooks on to the socket. The ones I found have a bar that only sits in a socket type fitting. Laser tools calls it a lambda sensor socket.
I have owned the same o2 sensor socket since I became a tech in 2009, I have worked for 4 different manufacturers and on thousands of cars. I have never, not one time, even considered buying another o2 sensor socket.
It's pretty simple. Use a quality additive every tank. I use Hot Shots EDT in every tank. About every 10K I use their diesel extreme also. Hot Shots or Stanadyne are best. Not really any cons. Our fuel is dry junk. Added lubricity is a good thing. Hot Shots adds a few other things that help also.
I have a question on the 2015 expedition ❓❓❓❓❓❓❓why the transmission is not shifting properly from 3rd to 4th and sometimes I get check engine lights when I go fast and then the suv becomes slow and the transmission fails to run ….. until I switch the key hole engine off and start again
I know I'll get hate but the only o2s so ck et I have ever had worth a damn was the snapon one I have had Cornwell matco harbor freight..a ND the only one that didn't break after a few uses was snapon and I have worked In an exhaust shop for almost 15 years ...yea the others get replaced for free but I take out 2 sometimes 10 o2s a day so I can't wait a week or drive an hour to get a new one every few days
Why in the world would you tighten an oxygen sensor so tight I have never had a complaint of somebody having one Fallout I've never had one loose when I was under the vehicle they have a crush sleeve like a spark plug go figure how tight do you tighten spark plugs
Once you retire.... No one in your family will want that $70,000 plus metal box and tools... Ive seen it happen many times. Truly sad. But whoever buys it will get a deal.

True especially with ford

Buying tools 47 years and no end in sight 😮
Never say never. Ford hears you and 3 new sockets will be needed
"Having a half inch head can be good in certain situations."
Thats not what my ex told me 🤔
He told me the same thing….bawwwhahahaaa
Miss Jackson if you’re nasty …………. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just bc you said that now they will make a different sensor.
Harbor freight sells the exact set for like 30 bucks. Used it for years. Never one issue. And yes I’m a professional automotive technician
Im the same…some harbor freight tools are really worth it.

If it's less than half the price and does 80% of the same work, it's good enough for me!
Never? Ya, sure...

My dealer still sells them and I told him it will either work or piss you off
@jacobstacy588 lol true. Can you find a part number, my brother wants one?
They're available by others too

Nice kit! 👍🏾

What's the average cost of a 10speed rebuild? And where are you located?
Vice Grips work pretty good😂
He qorks at the small little ford dealer in a town called atmore alabama. About 45 minutes from pensacola, FL
I guess about eight years ago HarborFreight sales and identical set for $40. It definitely comes in handy though.
Put a price to it and where do you purchase these units?Or should I say tools
What do you drive since you are always trashing ford?
Us diesel guys out here wanna know your opinion on fuel additives, pros cons frequency of use etc…thanks

Thank you for the info. I appreciate that
@@albinorhino1313 You're welcome.
fuel additive yes, in oil never
@@Rudy97 No one said anything about oil additives. Question was specifically asking about fuel additives
Looks exactly like the Herbert frieght, except case is red
That a problem?
looks like and is like are very different things.
@@PandaMan02not really, youd be surprized how many identical sets get rebranded just to put a higher price on them lol
Did u have to buy ur own VCM3 ???? If so how much???

It’s out of stock!!!❤😂
Did you know you can use an impact on the crow's foot style? I learned it the other day, genius hack
Every mechanic already has all these in their box. Just not a fancy matching set
Can it remove a shielded oxygen sensor?
What should I do after taking off a o2 sensor just to check it out
That’s what she said
I like thanks.
This is just a rebrand. I have the exact same set, same blow-molded case by a different brand.
Best ever is the generic wrench that just says O2 on it. One end is flex the other is fixed. It will get to 85% of sensors.
Junk best 02 sensor swivel 22mm sharp inside work s ever time😊
I could have used this set years ago
Plug worked .. site is out of stock on both
You could have used a box wrench in this case
Aww, man 😔😔 (my truck has no catalyst or sensors😜)
Figured id comment so you wouldnt just have bots
Remember the day, that their was only one O2 sensor socket needed.
Acetylene and oxy works the same
Why in the world would you tighten an oxygen sensor so tight I have never had a complaint of somebody having one Fallout I've never had one loose when I was under the vehicle they have a crush sleeve like a spark plug go figure how tight do you tighten spark plugs
Nah, bruh you'll have to buy more 😂
Come out easy on the ground and not all rusty after 100k
A mechanic wearing shorts 😂😂
if you're judging him by that, you haven't watch his channel. He is an excellent mechanic.....its just hot.
how much $$
Limited lifetime warranty
Wal-Mart is sold out.
I’d use it too if it was free😂
$67 thats a good deal to bad its out of stock
Out of stock unfortunately
