That is wonderful! I am so glad you were able to make the Heart rosettes based on my template. It is so fun to make. You can make them in different sizes by changing the width of your paper. Just be sure to keep the length of your paper 12inches long. Tfw Sheshe
Thank you for the lovely tutorial, when I watched it I got some ideas, so I have a couple of suggestion for you (I'm an engineer haha), if you score every half on one side, and turn the paperstrip and score the betweens from the other side, it might be easier to fold.. I havn't tried this myself ( I don't have a scoring board 😞) so I don't know if there is any differens. The other suggestions is that if you had used a little wider paper strip and placed the die in the middle you would have to two hearts 😀
Yes that could work too. Its all in the matter of how many you want to crank out and how thick your paper is. I have learned the thinner the paper it is a little easier to fold. Your suggestion is a time saver too. If you don't have a scoring board do you have a paper trimmer? I have seen people use their paper trimmer to score. Just a suggestion. I don't make that many hearts only around Valentine's day but I may do an update to this tutorial some time this year and I will give this suggestion a try and see how it goes. Thanks so much! Tfw

Would this work for my Ali Express heart pinwheel I have purchased, it came without instructions? It looks similar but much much smaller. I could attach a photo of the die but can't seem to do this with my message.

SheShe.. Just saw your tutorial!! It was very helpful!! So, if I make my own template.. I fold a 12” paper in half & then cut out the “whale” & score every quarter inch? Right? This is new to me!! Oh!! What kind of glue is that with that thin liner applicator? It looks like just what I need to use for those very thin letters!!! Thsnk You! Can’t wait to try one of these!!😍❤️❤️❤️
Hello, I am so excited you found me. You can use any glue. You can even purchase glue from the dollar tree. Their brand adhesive is pretty good. You are got all the techniques down to a science. You are on your way to making your heart rosettes. You can decorate them as you wish. I just made the template that way so it can fit on a piece of paper so you can trace out the template but you can trace it on to a scrap cereal box for future use. I also have other videos to make butterfly rosettes too. Super fun!

what kind of glue are you using?
Hello, I used scotch quick dry glue in the bottle and just temp high heat hot glue for my hot glue gun. hope that helps. Tfw

+Lori Seabrook Hello Lori, I have drawn out a heart rosette template and made a pdf file. Do you have an email address of where I can send it. I am having difficulty linking a pdf file to the video. I just don't know how to do this. I will be more than happy to email you a copy of my drawing. All you need to do is print out the copy and trace it to a piece of card board to make it easier to trace in the future. You can make as many as you like. I hope this helps. Sheshe

12”long X? Wide. Strips
12 inch long and you can decide on your own how wide you would like your heart rosette to be. you can make a small heart or a large heart. I would not go to large. experiment with different sizes.
