Great song!!! With this song he's addressing the proliferation of substandard, soulless music that's out there these days, music that lacks musical artistry like the music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Music that really blew you away and struck a chord deep within you and resonated within you.

i know im 6 years late. but literally in the past music was just as shit if you looked at the entire industry. of course old music sounds better when you literally filter out the songs you dont enjoy. people will criticize no matter what. 'its all soulless drab and its all bad' even when goldband drops a banger for the ages. in 10 years we wont remember the mediocre songs and only the ones that can withstand the test of time just like all those older songs you hold so dearly. youre making it seem like youre blind, but you just refuse to open your eyes and continue saying 'its dark out, i can see it myself'
