Hope you had a wonderful weekend full of knitting and chatting, I’ve just caught up ready for my fav morning knitting session catching up on this week’s episode tomorrow ❤
Thank ladies for another fabulous episode! Am super inspired by all the lovely things you make … 😊 Can’t image how awesome it would be to actually visit a dedicated yarn shop! We have nothing like that in tropical northern Australia. You can buy mediocre yarn in a couple of places, but if you want some really nice yarn you have no choice but to buy online or spin it yourself. I’m a spinner so all good … 😜 Look forward to the next catch up - maybe, just maybe I might catch a live one someday! Hugs from Down Under … 🥰
You lovely ladies are so enabling. I just ordered my Sheepjs Whirl and downloaded the Lost in Time pattern. Hope mine will be as beautiful as yours, Kelly! I ordered Sherbet Rainbow, can’t wait!
I do the lightbulb every 10 rounds too... I also change the colour of the lightbulb for the final round before the heel and the final round before the toe.
I knit a summer shirt (love note) in Tyne line held with mohair (because i thought it was the line) and it worked out wonderfully. The mohair was ordered online so was quite a bit lighter in colour than the Tyne line yarn so it made the fabric look sort of shimmery- happy result for sure.
I count rows like Kelly, slip my marker on the stitch on the 10th row, on the needle. I have some homemade abacus type stitch markers , tiny beads since I don't want anything too big , pull one down each time I do a round, (that would go up to 100 ) but use as back up in combo with bulb markers. Also like identical socks and do two at the time alternating between the two, have not made the jump to two at a time one set of needles .
Lovely to see you ladies sorry missed the live couldn’t stay awake with time change in edinburgh although actually am in a small fishing village called Eyemouth at out static holiday home for a break since hubby s very poorly with vasculitis and in severe pain he s a poor soul
I have enjoyed seeing the crochet work :) I am a crocheter so it was great to see project I can relate/aspire to. this is eventhough I really enjoy seeing your knitting projects and love watching you podcast every week .
I love your conversation on the grandchildren. It is very busy and wonderfully fun to have them over but yes, very tiring! It's wonderful but super quiet when they leave.
Loved watching the podcast, always learn something new. Question, would you mind telling me which podcast Noelle talks about her road trip to the Maritimes, I think it was last year, can't remember. Wanting to hear which stores she went to for a trip I'm doing out east. Thank you
Funny you both are getting the crochet bug - must be going around. I got a little burned out on my knitting so I have been crocheting a dress and a top this summer. I did the Lost In Time shawl a few years ago and it is to this day one of my most favorite makes!
Hey Noelle! I'm making the Sutton Shawlette and about to pick up to knit the border. I'm a true beginner, but it seems pretty straightforward (and I also took a look at Tori's video). On your first knit row, did you end up adding any stitches at the point of the triangle, or were the number of stitches indicated in the pattern instructions sufficient? Thanks so much!!!

Hi again, and thanks for another great episode. I look forward to, and enjoy you both every week. Thanks for doing this work for us all.
Veronika spells her last name Lindberg - no h on the end. Beautiful pattern❤
I made a lost in time shawl 6 years ago and used a little over 1600 meters in an unspun mayflower rainbow cakeyarn. Still love it!!!

The way I ensure both my socks are the same is by knitting them TAAT on two Circs. That way I don’t have to count.

So I have been doing 9 inch for my sock( my first and only) so far so is the 16 inch the same as the 9 inch just easier
For the rib it socks, is the ribbing on the sole comfortable to walk on?
Can you help me how to post on raverly it will not allow me to post a picture.
