This is currently the same price as the X3 and the X3 blows this thing outta the water (LITERALLY as the X3 is waterproof)... Sorry Panox, Keep trying. I would consider this camera if it were $299. but its lack of durability, water resistance and "action camera" features makes this a negative at its current price point.

Now mind you, the X3 is waterproof, however it is a terrible underwater camera without the special dive case. The seam is triple the size and footage is unusable unless you use single lens mode. That said, I agree that the price point at $340 is too high for a 360 camera using the same parts, but still falling short of the X3 on overall features. $60 discount is not enough. I think the tracking live is irrelevant because you can do the same thing with the Insta X3 as part of the pre-pre post, but you have complete control of the track. The Krux of the 360 cams is the pre-pre part adding that additional step in one way or another. Whether you are doing it in the camera or with your editor it's more time to your production. Nature of the beast. Love your videos, and I think you were fairly honest in this one, but bottom line, even if you keep this camera, I doubt you will use it much. I have the X3 and it sits idle a lot as well, extra work is a terrible resistance point. 360 is kind of a gimic b roll maker.

well PanoX V2 has too cooling fan on each side of the camera, that is why it is not waterproof.with cooling fan you can make the video/livestreaming up to 9 hours.
