Taking Apart Epson XP-800 Printer Disassembly XP-600, XP-810, XP-830

- This is a long video, but it may help you when taikng apart an Epson XP-600 or XP-800 series. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver for all screws. I am confused in some areas, but try to get through each part. I have only taken apart about 3 of these and a little while back, so please bear with me.

Parts I remove from printer: Printhead, power supply adapter, logic or memory board, paper pickup roller, adf unit, adf tray, duplex unit, screen, suport hinges, trays, etc.

I use xp800, helpfull video, , but looks so complicated to replace back.

Thanks for showing how to remove the print Carriage. None of the other videos I watched on the Epson printers show how to do that.

Error 0xF4 on Epson XP-630..what could it mean?
This video gives a good example of the internal, although it isn’t best practice.
Screws, springs and al kind of small parts are scattered over the workplace.
I wonder if they were able to get in one piece again and working.

My xp 820 giving me error 0x4D and my xp830 recently give me error that light exposure is to too much and asking to close the scanner panel but it is close. Any one can help me on this one?
Hi today I insisted in disassembling the xp-820 printer, I reached the moment where I just can't get apart the two drawers from the bottom, it seems there is some kind of tab locking both and I don't want to force the away and avoiding breaking some parts, any hints?
I have watched the video many times but still can't find the way to do this. Regards and waiting for your help.

I just need to get to the main board, ain't an easier way to get to it? I started to disassemble the printer and I'm scared I will not be able to assemble it again, so many parts to remove just to get to a simple fuse. An assembly video would also be great.
Thanks for the great video, and good luck putting it back together... Ouch 😓. My XP-615 has an error 9Ah (fuse). But I don’t see any fuse... Would you know how to fix this “easily”?

I want to access the drive motors. Can I get to these and remove them behind the side panels and not have to dismantle from the top down ?
Hi. No, you will not be able to get to motor just by removing side panels.
@@303electronics I've narrowed down my printer problem to a cog which you never got to remove. It's the cog that's visible to the left, when the lid is open. It meshes with another cog that's nearer to the front that's on a shaft with the transparent plastic disk on the end. If I had an exploded diagram, I could identify the part number. The faulty cogwheel is flapping up and down on it's shaft. I think it may be cracked and loose on the shaft. Strangely, the printer still works but is very noisy when moving and ejecting the paper.

I wonder how much time do the Japanese spend assembling this printer, I'm tired just from watching the video and it also gave me an anxious state of mind. I am scared to death thinking I have to do all this for trying to repair my printer, now I know why everybody told me it isn't worth to repair this printer, companies should make things easier so we won't produce more electronic trash in our world.
He didn't show on how to remove the motherboard, that why I'm here . He just remove screws where ever he saw them. To completely disassemble your printer this video shouldnt be an example.
