The "extra" small black round piece I believe is a washer to go on before installing the handle. That will prevent b the handle screw from protruding through the bottom. One would assume you would have measured your miter slots BEFORE purchasing a miter gauge. I purchased the same setup for $75.00 US, minus coupons I had, for a total of $63.00 with free shipping. I have the Dewalt DW745 tablesaw and this fits perfectly. The Tablesaw is about 10 years old, but is brand new and never seen saw dust yet. I got a hell of a deal on it years ago at HOME DEPOT during one of their crazy few hour sales for $175.00. It's been in storage because I had a tablesaw I was using at the time. Well that one died and it is not worth investing more money in so out comes a brand new, 10 year old TS. I recieved the miter gauge yesterday and set it up along with the Dewalt DW745 and today I will be testing and making micro adjustments to the new set up. I can't wait to use it!! I have the same one mine did come with instructions so I found that a bit odd yours didn’t. You place the grommet in the right place which is under the hand grip and my 45 is not accurate either which is a shame because the build quality is great. And yes your review was spot on you left no stone unturned.
Mine has just arrived and is a great looking piece of kit. It does fit my Bosch GTS 635-216, and is much better in quality than the plastic Gauge supplied by Bosch. I also did not get any instructions so will need to figure things out over the next few days. For those of you thinking of purchasing and you clicked on the link given by JP mine defaulted to supply from CN which showed at €113. I changed the supply to from CZ which then gave me the €88 price.

You can get the bangood wnew brass handle one that's good a guy called Stuart parker sells a mitre bar that fits it and the older drillpro version for the rage 5s.....or now wait for the new evolution saw and buy that instead 🤣🤣as that has normal mitre bars. The wnew one also has much better calibration settings as the mitre gauge is 2 pieces that can be adjusted. And then the same grub screws for the back of the fence for forward and back adjustment on the fence.
Thanks for the good review asking the same questions I would have. Does look like a great bit of kit and would benefit from some instructions, someone has put a lot of thought into the design so helping us to use it correctly getting the most out of it would be a plus. Looks like value for money but for my hobby use it is slightly to expensive for my Bosch Pro table saw. Have to consider it costs about half the price of the table saw which came with a standard gauge.
I just actually ordered it via your link. May use the fence for my mitre saw as the flags system looks great even though its not fully clear how to use the double flags, might be for use left or right of the blade.@@Smallbarnworkshop
The bar has 3 screws (left-middle-right) to adjust the angle. just screw in the middle half a rotation more and adjust with L & R to have the perfekt 90deg - the rest is done by the 30,45 or 60 deg slot

It looks good, but given my limited space in the workshop, I think I could struggle with such a long fence. over the left side. Hi no its the same one. You can see at 2:33 on the video. He does mix in a different Gauge later on, which can be purchase separately. Also the price difference is strange. When I clicked on your link it showed a price 40 quid more, when supplied from CN, I changed the supply to from CZ and it was then 40 quid cheaper. I also have this model. after viewing your video, I thought I'd have a look at mine. And one thing I did notice the spring loaded brass Locator. that's supposed to key in to fixed angles. If you just rely on the spring, there's quite a bit to slop Or wobble. and that could well be out on any of the angles. If you just Screw down the. lock as it is. But if you press the spring loaded brass thing in before doing up the screw. that really pulls it in accurately. I wonder if this is what your problem was. Also is someone else's mentioned. Your saw could be slightly out. of track with the blade to the table top, And not that noticeable with right angled. cuts, But would be More noticeable. with 45 degree cuts.

Just an idea mate, with the evolution saw, could you put things sheet of ply down over the surface to "Fill" the gap between the guide and the table top of the saw?
It sounds terrible as it's sliding, can I suggest waxing your saw top and miter slots. It makes a huge difference in how smoothly things slide over the saw and it helps save whatever that finish stuff is on the top.
Interesting. I actually bought one of these based on Dennis' review ar Hooked on Wood. It arrived last week and I was planning on setting it up this weekend. The spelling on the box also gave me a laugh. I was a surprised and worried by your 45 degree results - IIRC Dennis did a hexagon test and it was perfect which encouraged me to pull the trigger. This is my first mitre gauge and I know nothing about them really :) I did have one thought - and no disrespect to you! - but are you sure that your blade and tracks are haven't fallen out of calibration? It might be worth doing some checks not based just on the cut itself to see what in the whole process is square and what isn't? If you are interested,I'd be happy to let you know how mine turned out? I really enjoy your videos - I feel I can relate to them much better as a DIYer. Very user-friendly :) It's also great to see that you are being recognised by retailers - kudos. PS Dude figure out how to keep good depth of field/focus. Sometimes I thought my eyesight was even worse than I thought it was! ;) 🤣

With regards to the depth of field I bought a rather expensive f1.8 lens that’s can film really blurry backgrounds. I love that effect. I filmed some overhead shots with my other camera for some B roll, which didn’t look right in the edit. so, some of the footage- with my back to the camera - wasn’t supposed to be in the movie but I had to use it eventually it. Hi JP - Sorry for my tardiness because I promised to share with my experience with the mitre gauge. Unfortunately Banggood and life got in the way in the mean time :) Anyway the short version is this. There was a defect with my gauge and BG were not at all helpful or cooperative in resolving the issue. In fact they were surprsingly rude (maybe a bit of cultural difference here). One of the four set screws in the rail lost its bearing as I opened the box and as a consequence I was unable to get a got fit the the slot. In the end I managed to source a similar screw to resolve the problem. By comparison, the original set screws are far inferior in quality which probably explains the initial problem. Accuracy was very good once I set it up. However I have a major problem witht he fence. While the quality is unquestionable, I have found it to be much too wide for my (our?) deWalt table saw. The its weighty (sturdy) construction combined with its length mean that the overhang on the left side of the table saw cause it be very "tippy" and unstable without support. It has almost fallen out on me on a couple of occasions. Personally I don't need all that length and will probably replace it with a shorter one to make it more practical in everyday usage. Shame because the fence is really well made although I do have a problem with understanding the stops and understanding how to use the tape measure since "0" is not actually "0" 🤪😂 Have you found the length of the fence/tipping to be a problem? Did you check your saw blade is parallel with track, if your blades out by the smallest amount it will impact your mitre
