This Master/instructer is the best! Kind but firm, honest, and giving life lessons to all his students.
Tells his students, " No laughing." In the best way. I started Taekwondo when I was 4 years old and got my black belt at 12 years. I can totally relate.
I love how little warrior ignored the laughing, listened to his Sensei's instructions, and followed through until he succeeded!!! ❤️❤️❤️ 💪🏽

I was screamed at, physically wrestled aside to be chastised, given up on.
Sure, I’m autistic, and it’s hard to be patient with me as a kid. However, this level of patience creates a safe environment for all kinds of kids to thrive, compared to the general standard of “coaching/teaching” within sports.
I could’ve participated in many sports if even one of my PE teachers understood I had passion to play, but no competitiveness in me. I loved playing, but I never saw or understood the underlying motivation for the more competitive kids.
Encourage your children to love to play the game, regardless of the outcome, and you’ll be surprised by how that confidence can create many victories along the way.
Support is everything. I don’t sense one frown in that room. ❤

Hes literally being given a meaningless trophy for failing a doxen times. It's clearly a pay to win scheme. The idea that this kid is worthy of any kind of recognition devalues the accomplishments of everyone that has ever achived anything.

@deathcrunch9020 He's... a toddler. 🤦🏻♀️ NOW is the time to instill the basics that will carry him through to each next level: patience, diligence, correct form, recognizing the need for hard work, and NOT getting a belt until the required task is accomplished, which the teacher remained resolute about. There was no mention of having to perform the task within a certain amount of attempts. The lesson here is that you won't receive a belt until you accomplish the required task. Lesson learned. 💪🏻🏆

I cheered so hard when he broke it! Also so glad the teacher stopped all the laughing. The kid approached the task with patience and focus and dedication. Even with an audience of adults and strangers in the room. So very proud of him!
I was impressed how fast he learned, starting from (seemingly) nothing and how accurately he tried to do what the teacher told him, e.g. after he said "This way" he hit the ground exactly like the teacher had done.
