Hi Nick, it's good to see Ukraine celebrating its Independence Day and go along with you on a virtual walkabout. The displays of destroyed Russian combat vehicles, uniforms, drones and other equipment is disturbing, but important for everyone to see, especially UA-cam viewers around the world who may be fatigued by mass media war coverage. Thanks for sharing this direct view. The air raid siren was chilling to me; glad nothing happened. Best to you, Rob.

Thanks Rob! Indeed it is sad that there even needs to be a display as such but unfortunately it has happened this way. Hopefully soon victory for Ukraine will come and peace. And we may even hope for a democratic revolution in Russia. Thanks for watching and supporting as always! Cheers my friend!

She obviously understood he is tourist from europe and wanted to attract him with a chance of leaving with him but had language barrier. The way she spoke, even i didn't understood what she was talking about. Made no sense at all. Like she was very nervous and wanted to attract the guy but didn't know english :)))

Never do so. If someone just come by you and tries to sell you something - never accept it, is is a scam 99.99% of times.
In this case, the girl is selling souvenirs (she holds it in her hand) and she starts conversation with suggestion to buy a souvenir. After that there are few phrases i can't understand, she asked not to film her and suggested to buy souvenir in flirty manner.

Thanks Nick for this glimpse into how Ukrainians celebrate Independence day. Peace and independence good friends and perhaps ice cream on a nice day is what most people hope for. The false alarm was surprising, wonder what set it off? Was is a Mig nearby?

Hey! yes the ice cream was great on a hot day.. even if it wasn't frozen enough haha it was a mig that took off but didn't strike Kyiv as far as I know🙌🏻

Interesting times. Thanks for the tour of the stationary parade! In the Beatles song "back in the USSR" they mention balalaikas.

In general, a vyshyvanka is some kind of unique type of clothing - on the one hand, it is ethnic clothing and should be old-fashioned, but it looks absolutely gorgeous and modern. Women's dresses - especially. Vyshyvanka under jeans and a jacket very often does not look old-fashioned. The red and black version is absolutely stunning in both male and female versions. On the next day of vyshyvanka (the last Thursday of spring in Ukraine), I would like you to have it)
