This is why i admire Hua’s artistic performance. You are right, it’s like a broadway show. First time i saw this without lyrics it threw me off and didn’t understand what he was conveying. After seeing the lyrics, it made perfect sense how deeply he portrayed his interpretation. He is truly bold to not to sing and perform it just as a song. I so respect you for understanding Hua and always interpreting lyrics that we can appreciate.
Spectacular isn't it Fil? First time I saw this I was in tears, and feeling huge guilt at what we expect of our artists. He is simply the best performer on the Planet. He makes you... Feel every song. No Hua Chenyu performance ever just washes over you. He Challenges you to work for your appreciation. And often that results in very strong (and draining) emotions. He's in a much happier place at the moment. But... THIS will always remain one of my favourites... Angst and all.

This sad song is deep, he built up the layers slowly n later part was the explosion. Love his crazy performance. This is the way to express the meaning of this song. Is very drama yet it makes me think deeper into ones life. He perfectly deliver the story of the sad character.

His willingness to ignore mainstream cultural conventions of creating and performing music, and his deep connection to his song, elicits the listener’s own feelings. I love this incredible artist.
