Thank for the information , I just did a conversion to hydroboosted brakes, 1996 Chevy 2500 hydroboost from rockauto and high pressure hoses all for about $200. I just don’t understand the high cost for some of these after market parts when with a little research and thinking out of the box. It can be done even cheaper by doing some junk hunting.

Excited to install this, but the instructions from CPP that I received with my kit are nothing more than a guide on how to cut hoses and install fittings. There's no routing diagram or explanation of which ports on the hydro-boost unit are high pressure and which is a return - and they're all visibly identical. I did however find some information on their website that was helpful. Bleeding these systems is rarely talked about or explained and the CPP system has the ports facing downward, whereas other companies point the ports upward and I think that makes getting air out of the system easier.

You can get these off Chevy Astro vans , Silverado , and Express vans. Plenty in the salvage yards.

Please make sure you fix any power steering leaks because no fluid in the reservoir means no real brake power and an accident.
