You managed to make them all sound pretty good. Nice work in a real band context, the Gov'nor would prob be the smartest choice, or a rat. I wish they had brought out a rat with bass, mid and treble control. It would of been the best dist ever made.
Guv’nor, RAT and Metal Zone were my favs.
Wish they still made the Guv’nor.

Great video! My two favorites were the Guv'nor and the Rat.
I run my amp gain knob at 12 o clock and the rat knob at 10 o clock and the volume all the way up for a thrashy tone it sounds great

Really? I felt is was a bit thin and hollow but that’s just my ears, to each their own. Personally I liked the Rat followed by the DS-1

Rat is just quality. Ive opened up the big muff 2018 version and it was chinese capacitors and parts.
What is wrong with that ?
Wake up 99.99% of things are from china including your cell phone with China parts

Big Muff Pi has too much muscle imo. I found RAT the best in all categories

Agree. Lots of fans, but I can't get used to it.
DS-1 and Big Muff sounded awesome! I usually run my DS-1 with the tone at 1:00 and the distortion at 4:00, level all the way up because I have one of the newer Ds-1 pedals and it tends to be quiet.
Metal Zone is a big No, but others are Yes.
Yes agree with some portion of u..metal zone mt2 has a crunchy distorted sound bt the matter of sorrow that its clean was also distorted..too bad in this way

@@davidg4726its a amazing pedal. I had a boss OD3, SD1, TS9 and a Klon clone. The metalzone waza can emulate basically all of them in a convincing way. Works in low and mid gain too
HM-2 sounds super artificial.
They all sound awful. I won't buy any of them.

Metal zone in the fx loop is a whole different animal. Rat is probably the all around best. Muff is more fuzz but great through the right amp!
My favourite, the Marshall Guv'nor! Used as distortion booster also works awesome! (Gain 5, vol 10)
Edit: with the MKI version you could even use the the third jack "loop" (insert) to add a noise gate that works only with the effect enabled, awesome for boosting!
