Hello Richard and Johnny. Please do the duet of Lara Fabian with the great Russian Baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky. They sung TOI ET MOI in 2016. Dmitri died in 2017 due to brain cancer. Toi et moi is Dmitri's song composed by Igor Krutoy. Thank you❤

Michael Bolton also is an absolute fan of Lara. He said after this event:

I'm italian and of course I love her to sing in Italian... There are many versions... And I love Michael Bolton.. But I guess that the best version of this beautiful song would be with Andrea Bocelli and Lara Fabian.. ❤
I think Bolton was 61 here. Lara just got off a plane from Russia, and fresh as a daisy, enters the stage and sings without having rehearsed the song, then she will also sing Caruso, but for a Canadian friend like Foster this and more (she also sang at his wedding). As always she sings with her whole body leaving as always a lot of space to her partner and also tries to encourage Bolton who remains like a marble statue (it will be the same with Josh Groban). Those most informed say that behind the scenes Lara sat at the stove to cook pasta. Give me one reason not to marry Lara. 😁 In the end, all things considered, an excellent duet. 👍Thanks.
Wow thanks for the background info I did notice he was very stiff and not engaging. I thought maybe he did not do duets often. I have seen him in concert many times most recently lat year and he is always warm but didn't even have a opening act. Josh seemed intimidated but he was very young at least he did warm up. Lara and I are only a few years apart and I am as hetero as you get and I would marry her LOL she is simply a goddess.
@@magsmags9801 Yes, both Bolton and Groban are not very expressive in their performances and this is obviously very noticeable when they sing with Lara, however Bolton seemed nervous and not very relaxed (or perhaps intimidated by not having been able to rehearse the duet before) but they are two great professionals and the result is excellent. I will only add that like Lara he is also very active in philanthropic activities especially towards children and I was sorry to know that last year before Christmas he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to be operated on. By the way, Lara is also hetero but has stated that she would marry Charlize Theron 😆

Her duet with Maurane is my favorite. It's one of the best duets I ever heard... It's called Tu est mon autre, which translates as : you are my other half. It's so beautiful!
Important information: Lara had just performed a whole concert in Moscow, where she sang 19 songs, and without resting, she flew 12 hours to Los Angeles, and without rehearsing with David Forster and his orchestra, she stepped into the stage and sang Caruso and a duet with Michael Bolton (both songs without rehearsing) just 20 minutes after landing in the USA. We can notice from her face that she was very tired, but she still delivered everything, as usual. Ps: Did you guys noticed how tense/nervous Mr. Bolton seemed while performing, he was definitely reading the lyrics in Italian (which it's a language that he isn't able to have a conversation). It looks like he was singing using his full capacity while Lara was effortless singing using her 25% vocal range capacity. Plus, during the whole duet Lara was trying to connect with him, she was always looking at him and even touching his hand and arm, but he seemed insecurely concentrate in his own bubble tho.

Try to watch it the whole way..to get her every little detail and stay in the emotion of the song...then, re-watch w/pauses and commentary (if possible) I know you'll comment on the mic position near the end...soft yet powerful! She also sang Caruso in the same night/event. And before she got into the stage, David said that Lara has the most beautiful voice of the world, and that her voice is at the top of the top of the voices in the world.
Fun fact: they met in 1995 in NYC after David had been informed that there was a Belgium/Canadian young singer who was able to hit the G5 in chest/mixed voice, he couldn't believe and called her to arrange a meeting between them, then Lara sang a song acapella for him and did a G5 in chest/mixed voice effortless, then he decided to introduce her to Barbara Straisand, whom is one of her idols. He invited Lara to a restaurant in Boston and secretly also invited Barbra. Lara said that she couldn't believe when she got in the restaurant and saw Barbra and David waiting for her, Lara was 25 years back then. Years later Barbra called Lara and asked her to make a cover of Lara's songs called Broken Vow, which Lara said YES, but Barbra decided not to do after been informed that all the money would go to Sony Music and not to Lara, because Lara had broken her contact with Sony after the company have boycotted her in the USA just to promote Celine Dion instead of Lara in 2001.
I’m sure Eric will give you the full background on this, but Lara had just arrived from a 10 hour flight (from Russia, I believe) right before this performance and never even got to rehearse it with Michael. I'm surprised you had to blur it, quelle dommage. I've seen many reactions to this that aren't blurred, so it's just a little weird. But Johnny got it exactly right. Listening to Lara is like being wrapped up in a warm blanket. I love that David Foster knew exactly who MB would sound amazing with, and they are truly stunning together.
Johnny's comment about being cradled like a baby in her voice would make Lara so happy, more then any vocal power compliment. Lara is so sweet and kind you just have to love her

I know ya'll love Morissette, but you should know that she is a part of the vocal trinity of the Philippines with Jona (Jonalyn Viray) and Katrina Velarde. You should do some Jona reactions along with more Katrina (Never Ever Say Goodbye, especially) and, of course, their mentor, Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez. Also, although she is now Jake Zyrus, Charice was as good as there ever was. Check her duet of The Prayer with the Canadian Tenors (she also performed it with Andrea Bocelli and Michael Bolton at age sixteen).

You do know that MORISSETTE co-judged and mentored a talent competition called Asia dream with MICHAEL BOLTON and performed together a few times, MORISSETTE was younger than all the contestants, he idolises MORISSETTE, my feelings on LARA are that she should have been bigger than she was because she is awesome to watch and listen too 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️
