Humid, Muggy, Draining 10k Run

I waited for the drizzle to stop. The forecast kept saying it’d only last another “20 minutes of rain.” Then, another 20 minutes … sigh. Ha. Finally, it seemed it was finally over. Hooray. Then, it was so muggy. Haha. Sooo many complaints.
As I wither and I wallow
With a heart that is so hollow,
I shall whine and then I’ll swallow
All my pride as I just follow …
The guy who has no goals …
The man who simply scrolls …
Upon his slim device …
Ignoring paradise.
As I wait for rain to stop
And the other foot to drop,
I believe the day is lost
Or at least the wires have crossed.
