    This is helpful. No one ever tells you what is normal wear and tear vs something really wrong. Every change feels like something new that’s wrong. No way to know what’s pathology and what’s aging. Videos like this are great!

    This guy is salt of the earth. Such a warm, sage treatment of such a dire subject.
    That said, aging isn't all bad. I've been around old people all my life. As you age you also get dumber. This can be a saving grace. You are less apt to be offended by life, and more apt to find yourself in a wonderland. My mom lived to 100. She loved CSI. When she watched an episode she would forget it in fairly short order, and be just as thrilled by the same episode a week later.

      Yet I can very clearly remember being 31 like it was last month. How the last 31 years went by so freaking fast is a great mystery to me because the first 31 seemed to crawl.
      So hang on tightly, son, because if you blink you’ll suddenly find that you are 62 and ready for retire.
      TIME is life’s most precious commodity. Don’t waste one single bit of it on frivolous activities or doing things you detest.

      You shouldn’t fear death. It’s just a moment in life. Like a good meal or a good movie, or a good bath. Death is a short moment of life that we all experience then it’s over. No biggie. Alsoooo, old age is a luxury not afforded to many. Remember that and how many billions of humans died early in life.

    Gave up running in my late 40's because of knee pain. Have been inline skating since (I'm 72). Zero knee pain. Helps to have skated as a kid.

      I'm only 22 and messed up my knee in high school then was an electrician apprentice for two yrs which did them even worse, I use the saying I'm supposed to be young but feel like I'm 40 and it's sadly way wayyyyyyy too accurate

    Thank you very much. I'm passed all the aging markers[?]. I have a number of these symptoms, but not all - thank goodness. Very fine report with a little bit of humor never hurts during the telling. Explains some of what the doctor is checking for during the regular visits.

    That's a child's x-rays, he's pointing to the metaphysis of the bones, they aren't actually broken. That's cartilage to allow room for future bone growth and it eventually hardens

    I would like to see a follow up of this informative video, especially atrophy of the brain, and vascular system, and how intermittent fasting can change our bodies on a cellular lever . How can we change and protect ourselves more, and what can we do about hearing loss. Something I'm concerned about in later life as I get tinnitus which can affect hearing.What are the preventative measures can we take to gain overall better health.
