Flatline Van Co v2 roof rack install, plus tips and tricks

FVCO version 2 low pro roof rack on a 148 high roof extended length 2021 Ford Transit. I would say installation isn't difficult (mostly) so much as it is tedious. With a few tips and tricks, you will have the rack installed in no time. While their fairing is much improved from v1, it's wonky to assemble. However, once it is all together, the entire rack is solid. As for their version 2 rack mounts that attach the rack to the Transit, while they are quite low profile, in my opinion FVCO has an engineering lesson on design for easier installation to consider in their next mount design. What do you think?

Some of you may have noticed I did not Loctite any bolts. I will be reconfiguring the crossbar locations for solar panels, a Maxxair fan, and a Dometic RTX 2000. There is a lot of room within FVCO's pill shape slot design to place the crossbars virtually anywhere you need. I will Loctite the crossbar bolts when those adjustments are completed.
Other things to consider:
Due to their rail construction height, I believe my solar panels, fan, and AC, will be a bit more obscured from the view of a regular passer by; not that it does much if someone can see your roof from a higher location though. However, this same thing prevents overhang of any components attached to their crossbars. Their crossbars are inset below the top of the rails. Solar panels, decks, etc. must fit within the 58" crossbar width. I had a crossbar received in which the threading was 1/4" not deep enough for the bolt. Their customer service was great, I couldn't ask for better. They sent a replacement right away.
