- Superman: The Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. This B&M Roller Coaster will take you on the ultimate flight as you will "fly" up a chainlift hill at 106 feet and drop 100 feet at a maximum flight speed of 51 MPH. This video features an on ride perspective of Superman the Ultimate Flight from Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. While this video may not have the best view as you're mostly looking at the ground below you, this is the actual ride experience.

Advice on this ride: If you Tuck your head during the Loop it feels like your doing a flip instead of the feeling of your face/body is caving in.
That front flip is crazy. Totally unique sensation.

The first flip is the most stomach twisting thing ever... This is my favorite roller coaster at that theme park simply because of the upside down loop.

Brennan HDproductions Well I'm like the only person that reads signs in stations and they tell you not to look forward because you hurt your neck. My friend hurt his neck looking forward on the pretzel loop.
Joe Coaster there are some exceptions like you said, the pretzel loop, yeah youre supposed to keep your head back. I haven't been on this ride but ive been on tatsu in magic mountain. but the rest you should look forward.

The worst part about this ride for me was that because the bottom of the harness and the seat are not attached, if I let myself go limp I felt like I was gonna fall off. So I just used my leg muscles to push myself against the seat. It's so frightening when they first turn your seat so you're facing the ground and you feel your whole body drop down. It wasn't the scariest ride for me, though. My favorite was The Green Latern, but I didn't go on Nitro, El Toro, or King Da Ka 'cause I was suddenly afraid to go on Nitro, we didn't make it to El Toro, and I can't bring myself to ride King Da Ka.
DUDE NITRO IS SO MUCH LESS SCARY THEN SUPERMAN. well I'm a new rider wich one should I ride for my first intense roller coaster nitro or superman?
Umbellical Chick You should SERIOUSLY go on Nitro. It is tied for first with this. I'm eleven! It is AMAZING. And if you wear a drawstring hoodie, at the end on the camel humps, it will be like the drawstrings are defying gravity!
El Toro is more scary than fun for me so i understand that, but Nitro is awesome!!!

Oh, dear god, I love this ride. The way the g-force pulls you to the seat on the upside down loop is just epic. The only downside is that it felt like my stomach ruptured for a few minutes after the ride.

I love when it leans you forwards and you're pressed against it, and on the pretzel loop, (the first drop loop thing) pushes your back hard against the seat, it's so fun. I pushed myself back so it wouldn't smash me against it but next time i'm gonna let it do it.

Such a fun ride and criminally underrated. If you’re looking for a nice break from some of the bigger thrills at the park, then this is perfect. This is my favorite ride at the park aside from the Holy Trinity of Kingda Ka, El Toro, and Nitro of course.

I went to six flags for my glee club feild trip and went on this ride. I was so scared at first but it is actually A slow ride. Except for the crushing pain you feel at one part of the ride. But overall it was very fun!

I know this is exactly the same to Manta at SeaWorld in Orlando because of the inverted loop. I hate that inverted loop, it almost knocked me unconscious back in 2010 due to the fact that it affected my ear.
This is so different from the superman at six flags over texas, it just goes straight up then drops.
