Think you had yours at the time....sadly I never been in a position to replace it... Got dealt a few bad cards lol.. . Not had a car since...anyways.... Love watching your channel mate... You might run into some problems in a few weeks with that filter, mate. I have the z18xer, and it was okay to start with. After a couple of weeks, it went sluggish, and the engine management light came on.
I’ve got the same engine in my Vectra mine went abit sluggish at first but then was fine and been fine since and makes great noise at 4.5k revs when the vvt kicks in 😁

I cant even get my exhaust manifold off to replace the oil filter housing gasket, as its leaking and was making that awful sound before you fixed it. I have the same car as you i need help, no garage will touch my car and i dont want to get rid of it

The 3 door are the best looking astras
Take the air box and a 10mm drill bit and put as many holes in it as possible, but make sure it’s below the filter line, then compare to this mushroom!
My mum did this to her Corsa D....sorted.. N
Reming me of my first car this. Had a mk2 focus 1.6 petrol (same era as this astra) and did a full st rep swap minus the engine so had st bumpers, seats, wheel, sideskirts, boot spoiler, wheels etc as well as an exhaust and a screen etc. But didnt do an upbadge dw. Might be cool to do summat similar on the astra if the parts are cheap enough

The Signum was a great looking car imo, kinda cross between the Astra and Vectra. I had a v6 cdti with 244hp and it ripped.
VXR pedals are a quick mod that makes a huge improvement to the interior
Don't the side indicators bring up a fault on dash pal??

Can i ask why you're putting money in a 90hp astra? you sold a 190hp Corsa VXR and other various cars. Why not get a cheap Astra VXR? I'm genuinely curious.
People prefer relatable cars that are cheap and easily affordable

Lower it on coil overs ,vxr front and rear end,turbo with induction kit then upgrade and remap it for proformance and add led head light if aint got it and upgrade to a dab radio and bluetooth stereo and upgrade bass and speakers and add neons and custom exhaust or straight piped and strut bar
Jesse can you do something with the dash clock gauge rings.. astra/zafira standard silver be nice to see colour change mod

A quick tip: make the recap in the beginning shorter, just tell key points, not the whole chapter!

Original modders went to ripspeed long before ripspeed joined Halfords. Ripspeed was it's own shop in Edmonton London it was like a demon tweeks on a smaller scale.

i had a K&N air filter with cold air induction pipe running to it. actually made a difference in performance and looked nice. would reccommend

Haha window mods, I watched one of your videos that you uploaded 5 years ago lol its funny we all end up going back to a vauxhall haha I went from a corsa to another upgraded corsa, to a ep3 then back to a corsa haha
I don’t bother nowadays keep car original, K&N filters in the original airbox was always effective, (Novas, Cavaliers and Vectra) the Wife’s 1.8 Astra H vvt would probably feel a bit better with upgraded air filter 😎
